Buy the size you need, no need to upsize.
Very well made and works great but don’t make the mistake I made and get too big of one. Its very heavy.

Very impressive
I needed to pull some yard waste across my yard and this worked so, so well!!!The handle is really smooth and easy to operate. It never once felt like it was struggling or was getting stuck. The build quality is definitely there! The chain and winch are definitely heavy, which is a good thing.I doubt I’ll ever come close to it total rating, but it will last a long time and it’s very versatile. At $200, it’s a great value for what you get.My only complaint would be the packaging. The winch weights 100lbs and the box used is very flimsy. The box arrived torn and it was majorly re-taped by UPS. I would have doubled boxed it and used more than 2 pieces of tape.Other than the packaging, I’m very happy with the thing and I would highly recommended it.

Needs a little work to use.
This assembly is heavy.Usage problems. The hand wheel attachment screws were very loose. The up ratchet needs lubrication or you have to hold it while taking up tension till it gets some weight on it. All the pivot points need to be lubricated prior to use. Chain stop ring needs to be much heavier than a basic split ring.Good points.Very strong construction. Easy to use.

Powerful Tool
Hurricane Helene destroyed a lot of trees in our area. A valued pear tree was partially uprooted and leaning at almost a 45 degree angle. I tied one end of this thing to another tree about 30 feet way using a car tow strap and was able to upright and then brace the pear tree. This is a very powerful tool for a little money. It is easy to use, but it is very heavy. Of course it has to be heavy to withstand the forces it generates.

Seems beef and good for the price
I have a couple chain winches that are 3/4 ton and 1 ton, and occasionally Ive wished I had a larger one for certain projects. I looked up the magna ones (that I currently have) and a 3 ton was ridiculously expensive like $500! So thought Id pick up one of these for this great price and see. And well yeah, it seems made identical to the magna brand and other top brands ive owned. Chain is properly sized and rated and only time will tell how it holds up. For my once a year need it for something use, I think it will do the job and without bankrupting me.

Powerful!
I only have used it one time, but it worked like a charm. I buried my 4 wheel drive tractor up to the frame and this pulled it out of the creek. It didn’t even flinch, and worked flawlessly. Very happy with this purchase.

Lift your burdens today!
I got the VEVOR 3 Ton Manual Lever Chain Hoist ‘cause I needed to pull the ol’ tractor outta the pond again (don’t ask). This thing showed up in a box heavier than a Waffle House waitress’s sass on a Sunday morning. I hung it up in the barn, gave the lever a few good yanks like I was startin’ a stubborn lawnmower, and next thing I know — BAM! — tractor’s hangin’ in the air like a possum in a tree swingin’ from a shoelace. The chain’s smoother than Uncle Randy after 6 Coors Lights, and the lever works so nice it feels like it was blessed by Dale Earnhardt himself. Also used it to lift my cousin Earl’s 4-wheeler after he “accidentally” ramped it into the chicken coop (again… don’t ask). Heck, I even tested it by lifting the rear end of my ex-wife’s PT Cruiser just to remind myself I’m still the man around here.Only downside? I tried to use it to lift a cow. Don’t. Cows don’t like that.If you’re lookin’ to hoist something heavier than your mother-in-law’s opinions, this VEVOR thing’ll do the trick and then some.

To big to use!
I got them ahead of finishing my project! But this chain fall is still sitting in the open box , never took them out way to big to use on my project! So by the time I realized it they said they wouldn’t take back ! So not to happy!Andy Hebert
