Very comfortable

I decided to spurge and get a good office chair since I’m in it 8 hours a day working from home and my back is constantly hurting. I purchased this chair specifically for the pivot lumbar support. Chair was comfortable but the lumbar support is nonexistent. The ‘pivot air’ technology is just the back cushion that doesn’t offer any back support. It’s a nice chair and could’ve used the separate back support I had, but for the price I wanted something with built in support.

Good chair. Arm bolts took a nice impact wrench to get to attach. Bolts cross thread very easily. Instructions didn’t match great with actual parts. There are plastic spacers that seem were an engineering accident/afterthought that makes the chair pitch up so you sit back better in the seat. They work but weren’t in the instructions and are stapled to the bottom of the seat. Looks like something you should remove before assembly - don’t take them off!! Would be nice if the company would not create a quick fix to their product and not confuse the consumer.

Ok to sit in for half an hour, but it has never felt right, and never felt like the chair I sat in that looked the same at Staples. Doesn't say Serta on it anywhere. Is not straight/symmetrical. The back is too hard and obtrusive, while the bottom is flat and hard parts are pushing through. Cosmetically it has held up... but that's because no one wants to use it. Should have bought another brand. Maybe one that isn't afraid to put their logo on it... Anywhere. Even some "disposable" office chairs from Ikea are more comfortable than this. Wouldn't even give away for free as that would be rude. Sitting in this dumb, probably fake Serta chair writing this, hoping that maybe some good can come out of buying it - in the form of a review. Don't buy. 5'9", 155lb.
