Morgan Products 7/9-inch Lap Stand Combo Hoops

Nice and easy to use. This is my first "proper" hoop, having bought a cross stitch kit at a show, along with a basic hoop just to see if I would be actually doing this much. I soon caught the bug enough to know I needed a hoop I didnt need to hold up. This is a great set, with two decent sizes of hoop, and two wing nut bolts that tighten easily enough. There is a good space between the legs and hoops so you can keep one arm underneath comfortably. I use a pillow on my lap so I can angle it, and also rest my arm on. Feels like its going to last well, and like that it comes apart easily for travelling without having to take your work out.

Very good product for embroidery appliqué etc. Able to sit with it on your lap.

Wish I could have afforded the one which was a little bigger but that was so much more expensive than this size. I think it is going to be ideal for most things I want it for (I do hand quilting as well as various types of embroidery) Makes it easy to get your hand beneath the project when trying to quilt and also makes it easy to work in an easy chair with the fabric on your knee. I like the way it packs flat when not in use and this one fits in my sewing basket so I can be nice and tidy (for a change!) Solidly built with very smooth rings (I got a nasty splinter from my last wooden quilt hoop) I think it will last for a very long time.

I just received this double hoop contraption ~ me being disabled was a little concerned about putting it together and was pleased to find the easiness of doing so ~ I thank the item is a FANTASTIC idea ~ but the is a design fault with it ~ you need to change the position of the arm hole’s to do two things different! 1.) The arm hole are on the inside ring and should be placed on the outside ring so you have a complete inside circle to work on if you’re doing say needle punch work! 2.) The photo shows that when both rings are attached that the two screw heads match with each other ~ they don’t ~ they are slightly apart ~ would be nice if they actually lineup! Otherwise I found this item very easy to work with ~ held my fabric tightly without sagging when doing needle punch work ~which is a problem I had with many other brands I’ve tried! Could only do small amount of work and then had to adjust fabric do to arm holes being in the way ~ sadly! I would love to be able to get this item with both rings being say 20” and 40” ! If you ever make these changes and size selections ~ I would most definitely purchase it!

This product arrived promptly, is just as described and works well. It is well made and fit for purpose. Very pleased.

Great best thing for punch needle work would recommend.

I like this product as it meets my expectations. I have now also bought others in the range. You can use the hoops double or singly.

Value for money and a great product

I've been cross stitching since my age was in the single digits; over 40 now. I'd never heard of this invention til this year and it has been a game changer! It's so much easier to stitch using this, the way it holds the hoop up for you. I can't say whether it's increased my speed (though I wouldn't be surprised if it has) but it improves the experience by reducing frustration, and that’s good enough for me. It does have an iron-clad grip on the fabric, too, which has its downsides but is a glorious thing for the most part. Just get it!!

Very sturdy. Easy to use and comfortable lap stand. Would recommend and buy again.

最近はYou Tubeでも技法を紹介し糸や材料を売っている方と同じタイプのスクロールフレームを使っていて、これが最高だと思っていました。が、横幅の広いものを使って刺している時、なんか不便だな、と思っていました。横はメガネクリップに紐を付けて引っ張っているので一応布は張れているのですが、ちょっとした時になんとなく不満があったり。このフレームは実に素晴らしいです。布は全くゆるみません。何よりコンパクト。スクロースフレームをセットしていた机に載せて使っていますが、表側からの糸の始末だけでなく、裏に糸をくぐらせる始末をしたいと思う時にも簡単にひっくり返せるし、何よりスクロールフレームに比較すると安い。今まで何台もああでもない、こうでもないと買ったスクロールフレームの数々がなんと無駄だったことか。レビューに、これを買ってすぐにスクロールフレームを捨てた、というのがありましたが、たしかにそう言えると思います。まだ私は捨てていませんが、おそらくもう使うことはないと思います。
