Brilliant hoop and a good price! Holds the Aida tension perfectly, a little late with delivery but definitely worth the wait

I gave up on the wooden hoops as no matter their price and size, the fabric gets loose rather sooner than later. The plastic ones - even worse. Until now that is. To my surprise and delight, the Morgan hoop holds fabric stretched like a drum all the time. Yes, the hoop is pricier and bulkier, but it is still the best of all hoops I have tried over the years of stitching.

In the reading for this item it measures 10-inch but I received 5-inch hoop that is why I have only given it 1 star.

Excellent grip and holds tension well. Long screw allows use with heavy fabrics and double fabrics. I have made a little padded fabric cover to pop over the screw when in use to prevent threads catching, which could be a problem otherwise. Using for embroidery.
