Classic and Adorable
My kids love this, they bring it in the backpack that goes everywhere with us. It entertains them at restaurants, church, wherever else they may be a bit bored and I don’t want to give them more screen time. The illustrations are very sweet, the flaps are engaging and always have fun little surprises beneath them. Highly recommend!

Our FAVORITE!
Our three year old (and I) love cats! Plus the pictures are beautiful, the story line is well written, and the flaps are so fun! We already bought the other Christmas one because we can’t get enough of this!

The most beautiful illustrations
Eunyoung Seo does these most precious, beautiful illustrations I’ve ever seen. I hope we get many, many more cat family books. The Christmas one is incredible. I would love a Cat Family Halloween!

Beautiful book
Our 20 month old loves this book and immediately knew to start searching for all the hidden flaps after we showed her the first page. The story follows a family of cats going through the different sections of a museum. Each family member talks about their favorite room in the museum and how it pertains to their interests. The illustrations are very charming, and the flaps reveal little worker mice maintaining exhibits, uncover hidden pieces of art, and peeks into backpacks and backrooms of the museum. My wife and I really enjoyed going through the book first before introducing it to our daughter. All of the flaps have a little cutout to give you room to pry it open, but you'll definitely need small fingers or fingernails. I found that if I wasn't careful, I could accidentally separate the printed layer from the cardboard backing on the little flaps. Also, some of the flaps have hinges that aren't parallel to the edge that you pull from. This caused a few torn corners and folded flaps. I recommend going through the book first to pull each up flap to break the factory perforations. This book is definitely aimed for slightly older toddlers and should be enjoyable for years after. It's on the pricier end, but I think it's well worth the cost, because there's just so much to look at. If your child enjoys Wimmelbooks and similar, then they'll probably like Cat Family at the Museum as well.

Fun, sturdy little flaps!
The perfect book for a restaurant or anywhere you need to stay quietly occupied! I gave this book to my 1 year old and while she needed help finding the flaps the first time, she now loves running her fingers over the pages and finding all the little hidden flaps. It's also very sturdy and none of the flaps have ripped yet, even with "eager" opening from tiny hands. We're also a big cat family, so the theme is very warm and cozy. A great little book for our library!
