I absolutely love this set and I absolutely love the wooden hooks to crochet with. They are now my preferred hooks and the set it comes in keeps them near and try and is easy to carry.I bought these to take n to the plane and they worked brilliantly. Would recommend.

Been crocheting for nearly 50 years and thought I’d treat myself to a bamboo set as I had heard they were recommended.Unfortunately these snag and if you are a beginner I would actually recommend a cheap set of metal hooks as they glide well through most wool and cotton.Useful as a backup set as there are a large number of hooks of various sizes but the way the wool catches on them makes it more of an irritant to use than a pleasure sadly. I will need to take a sandpaper to mineIf you are a beginner this may put you off as I found I really had to work my stitches rather than have them glide. This may make you feel that you are performing your stitches incorrectly or at the wrong tension which is not the case at all.I mean they work and I managed to work up a lovely hat in chunky but as someone who loves to crochet without some filing down I cannot say these were what I expected from bamboo reviews.

I am new to crochet and wanted a comfortable set of needles to use as I worked my way through a learn to crochet book. These are excellent for that purpose. I have not yet encountered problems with wool sticking and they seem to be pretty resilient to tight tension. The case is so handy as I have found a little section for storing my sewing needle and stops me losing any individual crochet hook. Thanks

Gift for my crochet loving daughter in law.

Normally I purchase only metal hooks but these looked nice on the photo so thought why not. I am so pleased with these hooks they are absolutely beautiful. They are comfortable to hold but have to get used to them first and was definitely value for money.
