Get ready for a new take on a classic tale as we get lost with Robinson Crusoe and a bunch of adorable animals on a desert island. From the makers of A Turtle’s Tale and The House of Magic comes a fun-filled adventure for the whole family to enjoy in fantastic 3D and 2D CGI animation. On a tiny exotic island, Tuesday, an outgoing parrot lives with his quirky animal friends in paradise. However, Tuesday can’t stop dreaming about discovering the world. After a violent storm, Tuesday and his friends wake up to find a strange creature on the beach: Robinson Crusoe. Tuesday immediately views Crusoe as his ticket off the island to explore new lands. Likewise, Crusoe soon realizes that the key to surviving on the island is through the help of Tuesday and the other animals. It isn’t always easy at first, as the animals don’t speak “human.” Join Crusoe on a fun-filled wild ride for the whole family and rediscover a new take on this classic tale! Slowly but surely, they all start living together in harmony, until one day, when their comfortable life is overturned by two savage cats, who wish to take control of the island. A battle ensues between the cats and the group of friends but Crusoe and the animals soon discover the true power of friendship up against all odds (even savage cats).

Robinson Crusoe 3D
I live in Tennessee, USA so the only way to get a 3D copy of Robinson Crusoe (titled The Wild Life in America) was to order it from Amazon.co.uk.Then I found that the googled instructions on how to change a region 1 player to all regions did not work on my player. I ordered an all region blu-ray 3D player and was finally able to play the movie. Not only was the 3D impressive, but the movie was very enjoyable as well. My grandkids were mesmerized by it. Well worth the week and a half wait.

Fantastic 3D and animation
If you love 3D and great animation this is s Blu Ray you must own.I support the efforts of the producers of quality 3D productions.Studio Canal blows the roof off with some amazing 3D production. Even a step above of a Disney 3D production.I live in the US and have a region free Blu Ray player. When I played this movie I could not believe my eyes.A must own adventure family movie.

Good 3D, poor story, Robinson Crusoe 3D.
This review is essentially about the 3D effects - they are extremely good! Plenty of 'pop-out' moments! The only drawback is that the film is in widescreen which tends to spoil the 3D effects to some extent - 3D is best viewed in 'full screen' format. Unfortunately, the story line is rather weak - you obviously don't expect it to follow the book precisely, but nearly all of the most exciting bits in the book have been left out! Still, its certainly worth buying to show off the (almost perfect) 3D effects.

Disappointing
An ok movie, if a little disappointing. The industry have set standards so high that movies have to work really well to compete, this one didn't.

Fun value for Children. (and Old grown ups)
Now this review is from my grandchildren who thought it was great but not the scary cats, animal antics going wrong. Not going to spoil alert this one but needless to say a great twist on a great novel, no man Friday here but a great Tuesday, my grandchildren were upset about the dog. (NO that isnt a spoiler alert) go and watch it buy it or whatever, a good film for young and very old alike.
