What I needed, the size wasn't perfect on the old, painted rack in my closet, but could be bent slightly by hand and still hold 30lbs+ on the shelf I installed on top of them.

you will need extaras . Each shelf takes 4 pcs . in order to use all of them you would need them in multiples of 4 . 14 pcs gives you 4 shelves and you have 2 extra pieces

Another reviewer wrote, “if you need these, you know what they are,“ which made me laugh. I needed them, and I knew what they were, but I didn’t expect to be able to find them so easily. I’ve had a shelf that’s been held up by three brackets, and another one tucked away unused because I didn’t have these brackets. One of those situations you tolerate for years and then when you take the time to look for it,the solution is so easy.I tried squeezing these together to get them in, and I do not have a sufficient strength in my hands to do that. Then I tried slipping the upper notch into the slot, and pushing up directly from below on the lower section. Worked like a charm.

I added a shelf to our built-in kitchen cabinet and needed this particular style shelf bracket. The fit is perfect! I recommend them if you have the track style shelf adjustment.
