Q: When I plug the lamp in and put my hands under it the UV light flashes, is this supposed to do this?

This does not happen with my lamp, it just stays on a constant light. If no one else replies that their's does the same maybe you should return yours as it may have a fault. But do check that the cable is connected and its getting a good constant source of power. Good luck

There are things included in the kit but sometimes not strong enough depending on the amount of polish used

I just plugged mine in press one of the buttons and put my hand under it and it worked if it isn’t working send it back it may have been damaged in transit
