Was looking for an all in one device and the MX3s does it all; DAC, Headphone Amp, Speaker Amp and aux input.The amp powers my Q 3020's speakers perfectly as well any of my headphones that I throw at it; AKG k712, AKG 271, HE400i, Senny 569 (albeit all these are fairly easy to drive).The bluetooth works well, giving you the option to stream music from your phone to your amp.I don't have a sub to test the sub-out.It also comes with a remote, which I found to be mostly useless after I found that you can double click the volume button to change output (headphone only - headphone & speaker - speaker only).For the price (bought at £190) I think you would struggle to find a better quality unit that does as much as this does.

I am using the Topping MX3s on a desktop setup. At the time of this review I have been using it for three weeks. The amp stays cool to the touch running 24/7, just no detectable heat at all.The remote (RC13A) is intuitive, not fancy, everything you need. Uses 2 AAA batteries not included.The single knob on the front feels nice with a very light knurl, position is relative with a light "stepped" feel. There is no lockout of any amp settings. Lose a remote, no problem, you would just be losing the remote play/pause. Keep your manual close for a while, using one knob for all settings has a learning curve.Bass and treble controls!Main source is a PC. I mainly use Amazon Music for music streaming. My other streaming source is a Firestick. connected to my monitor.The Bluetooth from the firestick sounds great for watching movies and tv shows. Pairing was no problem.Now to the sound, well, I'm no audiophile. I am listening from a distance of less than a meter to two meters on Jamo S 803 speakers. These or not very sensitive (87dB) volume is no issue, No way I am going to crank this up to 11 in a small room. I would not hesitate to put whatever price point of speakers you aspire to.Headphones are a set of cheap and durable Sennheiser's for everyday use, and a pair of Grado 80's for music. The DAC on this brought out the best in both of these headphones.This was the amp I was looking for.

Bought the Topping MX3s to replace a 1Mii B08S for a computer sound system - room is quite small, 8x8x9 so didn't need a traditional amplifier. Use is USB out of a Mac Mini to the MX3s, passive speakers connected along with a powered subwoofer. Everything works. The amp produces more than enough 'clean' volume in the room, the DAC is a well regarded AKM chip. Recommend this highly!

本日届いて、スピーカーの配線やラックの移動など苦労して接続したのですが、電源を入れた瞬間、シャーノイズ。USBのみでアナログ系は何も接続していないのに…試しにAUXやBluetooth,Opticalなど切り替えましたが、全て同じシャーノイズ。スピーカーが壊れそうなので音量をゼロまで絞っても今度は右からそこそこの音量でプップッと連続ノイズ。音量ゼロなんですけど…どうにもならないので返品手続きしました。スピーカーなど位置決めする前で良かった。元の少々古いデジタルアンプに戻して普通にアナログ入力で聴いていますが、配線やスピーカーの問題でなく、綺麗に元の音で聴けてます。最新のDACのハイレゾ聴きたかったのになぁメーカーはそんなに評価悪くなさそうだったので外れだったんでしょう。音出しできてないので音質評価は無理です。

This is like having a full-sized receiver under my monitor without taking up all the space. I have mine paired with some old metal Realistic 2-way speakers and a Polk Audio sub; I could not be happier. Sounds great no matter the volume. This is an upgrade from the MX3. The only thing I miss is the way the decibels counted up to 0 and then positive on the old one. Does not do this on the MS3S (or I have not figured out how to.) The fact that you can run any source into this including digital ones that need a DAC is phenomenal. My last hookup is analog from the monitor (which has speakers) which means that I can put anything through this without having to move the wiring. The headphone out plug is a bonus and comes in handy for those late-night listening sessions. Works great according to my ears. I would recommend this for people who need a flexible desktop device with good volume and many connections or are getting started and don't want a large bulky system with mostly analog inputs. There is Bluetooth; everyone uses Bluetooth. Get some decent speakers and they will be happy.
