The mount is very straightforward to install with my Ring camera. It includes all the necessary hardware and clear instructions, making setup quick and easy, even for those who aren’t particularly handy.

This was a good purchase! I was reluctant to purchase this solar panel mount because it was not made by Ring. I decided to ignore my reservations and purchase it however because this mount could be used on my gutter downspout (as shown in the manufacturer's product description).The mount came with good instructions and it was easy to install. (This was helpful because this downspout isn't in a convenient location.) I used carbon fiber assembly gel to ensure a secure grip between the mount and the gutter downspout. I also used my cordless screwdriver to tighten the band clamps and this made the job easier.I've replaced the batteries in my camera since installing the mount. I've also adjusted the solar panel to get better sunlight coverage. I'm happy to report that there's been no slippage of the mount as I've made these adjustments to the camera and solar panel. I'm glad that this mount worked as I now have video footage at an important corner of my home.

Adequate for usage.

This was exactly what I was looking for to mount my Ring camera to a gutter downspout. It was easy to install and seems sturdy. It allows you to adjust and move the camera/solar panel in a variety of directions. It is also a very complete kit: It comes with everything you need, including different size metal zip ties, clamps, adapters for different cameras...even a screwdriver and gloves so you don't cut yourself on the metal zip ties. Now that I know it works, I will be getting a second one for a different camera.

Works great

This was just what I was looking for to mount my Ring cameras to the downspouts. Easy installation and eliminated the need of having to drill holes in the siding or other areas on the exterior of the house.

This mount works well for me! However, screwing up the ring with the screwdriver is very difficult. Fortunately, I used an electric one which made the work much easier.
