Cord length is plenty long. Good sound quality. Easy setup. Looks good and tape to hold the housing is quality.

The microphone was easy to install. The mini plug is the size for the port in the back of the car stereo unit, NOT the auxiliary port. We had to pull out the stereo unit, which was easy enough with the right tools. The microphone holder has mounting tape on the bottom.The sound quality on the microphone is good for the price we paid. It is multi-directional, so it picks up background noises in the vehicle. The person at the other end of the call can hear the road noises, which makes it harder for them to hear the person speaking.

Mic works good, my wife is happy about it. Hands free calling on her new radio!!

I bought this because all the reviews said it was an upgrade for a aftermarket car stereo, but when we I used it everyone just said “what!?”. I switched it back to the stock mic and the next day the people I talked to for the week I had this mic said “you sound so much better, I couldn’t understand what you were saying yesterday”

Installed this on a 1996 Jetta with a JVC radio and callers can hear me loud and clear.

Very directional mic. People on the other end of the conversation constantly complain they can not hear me. Poor quality so save yourself the trouble and spend a few dollars more for a better quality choice

For the price I don’t think you can beat this mic. Where the mic that came with the stereo was terrible and picked up echos and the slightest noise making me all but unhearable on a call, this little gem is a complete 180. Keep in mind this mic is highly directional so you will want it somewhere right in front of you for best sound quality. It comes with a little bracket it can sit in but I just disposed of it. It’s much lower profile without.
