Great all around open earbuds
You should understand that these are specific type of earbud. They are open earbuds that are not meant to have the plugs for noise canceling. These are better for ambient noise to come through which I and many prefer. I see many people not understanding this concept. As far as sound goes these are fantastic. I would say far better than Apple earbuds as far as balance, bass and signal strength. The Bluetooth connection is solid and one of the best I have tried yet. This is very very important for gaming earbuds because if you have a weak bt connection game mode is going to struggle having popping and crackle noises as they try to compensate. But these are special. Get these if this is what you are looking for. I have tried many including soundpeats, tozo, earfun..earful... these are hands down the best yet.1 Month Update: These things sound freaking awesome. I still absolutely love them and they have been working great. I started to wear them so much my left ear began to have some serious pain from fitment. They sound so good I went on a hunt for a solution and happy to say that foam earbud covers solved that issue. Its been 3 weeks with the foam covers and zero issues with discomfort. I highly recommend foam covers "18mm Earbud Foam Earpad, Replacement Sponge Covers for Earphone". Those fit perfectly and did not distort the sound whatsoever.

Perfect alternative for PC gaming headphones
Coming from someone who uses Airpod pros frequently, I've always preferred earbuds over headphones. I wanted to replace my wireless gaming headphones with something similar to my Airpods, but I'm pretty sensitive to latency and it can be a dealbreaker. After much research, I took a gamble on these and they are amazingly good. I've played a variety of pc games with these, including CS:GO and Sekiro, and the experience has been so good that I've forgotten that these were wireless. I was expecting mediocre sound quality before trying them, but once again, I was impressed. Listening to music/movies on my laptop with music mode on has been a delight. If you are looking for noise cancellation, these are not it. I actually prefer the way it is, so I can hear a little bit of natural ambient noise around me. Only con I can think of is the voice that notifies when you change over to game mode (e.g., "game mode on. ready to fight!"). While it was amusing at first, I think I can do without an anime girl screaming that line in my eardrum every time I switch modes.*Tested on windows pc with BT 5.2*- Stable connection- Low latency as advertised and definitely viable for gaming- Great sound quality- Clean design

Falls well below expectations
First off For you audiophiles out there...no LDAC codec. If LDAC is a deal breaker for you then don't waste your time. From here we begin our journey with Black Shark's Lucifer T2 earbuds. If the green and blank color scheme didn't give it away already, These earbuds are for gamers. Is it a marketing Gimmick? We'll find out. The case is charged by the included USB-C cable. Taking them from the rather extravagant case which lights us with large green leds (a for sure unnecessary major battery drain) causes them to automatically enter pairing mode which is the norm for bluetooth earbuds nowadays. It comes with three different sizes of tips with the midsized ones being pre-installed. I found for me the larger ones filled more of the ear canal which offered more noise canceling & the ability to have a more immersive experience, but did have some minor discomfort. The midsized ones were a bit too small which caused some sound loss. By default the sound from the two 10mm drivers is rather warm with a slight punch in the bass. It has a smoothness to it, but is not rich in depth. Going through my playlist, even at higher volumes there was no distortion or scratchiness, but the overall sound clarity from my other earbuds that utilize LDAC have is not there. There is a thumpiness from the bass which can only be described as hearing someone with a custom sound system driveby with their music blaring. I came to find out later that this was music mode of which is one of two modes that you can ONLY choose from (no default mode that is just flat with no presets applied.)The Lucifer T2 also doesnt pause the audio when removing either of the earbuds. However it does have the standard gestures you find on these devices (double tap to play/pause, hold to power on/off, triple tap to change modes, etc.)The microphone is absolutely abysmal. Even using text-to-speech has a hard time making out words. It somehow makes you sound in a much higher, slightly robotic pitch from 10 feet away all while inside a tin can. That's how atrocious the microphone is.It features a low latency gaming mode for real time feedback when playing games which I'm not quite sure makes it a gaming headset as I have numerous other earbuds with this feature so it kind of seems normal. With only 5 hours of play time it does fall short of expectations & to me illustrates a slight energy efficiency problem.Overall Black Shark's offering is a decent listening device, but would be completely unusable for anything that utilizes the microphone (of which if you're an online multiplayer type of gamer, content creator, etc. is a major problem.) In the end I swapped out the cheap silicone tips that are included for some of my own favorite tips which made them way more comfortable, but I couldn't close the case to charge them afterwards even though my tips are standard tips. I wouldn't call these "gaming" earbuds. It's clearly a gimmick as they are offering normal earbuds either. In my mind dedicated gaming earbuds would include sound presets for things like footsteps, voice, etc. while also being fine tuned for specific games. These are a definite pass for me.

Loud, clear, good bass, but could be more comfortable and snug in the ear
I got these for the loudness and bass, which WOULD meet my expectations if they were able to fit snugjy in the ear canal. I didn't rate them a full 5 stars only bc these earbuds have a design shape that actually takes away from their great sound quality. When I press them into my ear canal, basically simulating what they would sound like with snug fitting silicone tips, they are nice and loud, with deep bass. But that's obviously not practical for any length of time. The battery life is better than average, but of course not as long lasting as some of the earbuds you can choose based mainly on the prolonged battery life, but these ones do live up to the battery life claimed by the manufacturer. They do become uncomfortable (for me, anyway) after about an hour, bc of the hard plastic in your ear, and also gradually (almost imperceptibly) slip out.
