In spite of the explicit claim made, this does not work with the Philips Series 5000 razor. Specifically, it does not fit the charger socket on the razor.

Beware... this cable DOES NOT fit philips 3000
This cable DOES NOT fit the 3000 series shaver. half a dozen or so others on the site look the same shape so beware when buying this cable for philips 3000 series shaver. The cable is missing a notch along the center so is incompatable with philips 3000 series .

Works fine as a replacement cable for the Philips shaver, but it is far too short. Why not make one with a similar length to the original cable ?
