This umbrella is legitimately one of the better ones out there. My friend bought a more common umbrella that we've been using all summer, that I compared this one to. When I decided to get my own, I found this one, mainly because it came in orange and was different from the other umbrellas available. I took the umbrella for a spin for the first time to the beach just yesterday, and was impressed by the experience of setting it up. The more popular purchased beach umbrellas (usually with some type of blue stripe) comes with this metal stick that you can use to screw the umbrella pole into the sand. But, this umbrella comes with a plastic handle that is more sturdy and lets you screw the pole into the sand faster, easier, and safer. Then, the grooves at the bottom of this pole are superior than the other one, b/c this one has thicker grooves, and once it's in the ground, you can't even turn it that much, it's already secure. Lastly, it started to get windy on the beach, and with my friends umbrella, we had it almost a foot in the ground, but it still flew away. This umbrella stood the test of the wind, and was not budging at all. This is your ride or die umbrella, people. This umbrella is a game changer. Buy it if you are ready to elevate your experience, and then you can laugh at everyone else who doesn't have this umbrella.

I often take my children to the beach on weekends, so I always wanted to find a product to replace my bulky tent. After many comparisons, I bought this umbrella. Although it is not the cheapest, I feel that it is worth the money after using it several times. , First of all, it has 6 colors to choose from, the fabric is UV 50+ with anti-ultraviolet rays, and its retractable design is very lightweight and does not take up any space. It can be easily placed in the trunk. It is large enough to cover two beaches The chair has a tilt design that can easily adjust the angle of the sun to obtain the largest shadow. This design is very intimate. It uses a sand anchor design to easily fix on the soft beach and is very strong and not afraid of wind. My family likes it very much and it is worth recommending and sharing with good friends.

I liked the size of the umbrella, I like the color. A well made item, it is not as sturdy in the wind. As I expected, however thinking what umbrella would be? I think the anchor/screw. Needs to be bigger to get a better hold in the sand. Over all we liked it.

I purchased these for my in-laws who are in their 70s. The umbrellas are very large, lightweight and easy for them to use. They love them! And so does family when they come to visit.

Excellent Umbrella. This umbrella gives you very good protection from the sun. It Opens wide for plenty of shade. Color of fabric is bright and quality of fabric is better than expected. Extremely easy to open. Cary case makes it easy to take to beach. Would definitely recommend!

Held up well in a constant 15 mph breeze on the North Carolina coast. No worries if screwed into the sand correctly. Key is to lower the center of gravity by putting the hanging prong lower on the pole when drying swim suits or items to needed to be kept out of the sand.

Like others, opted for this beach umbrella due to the many positive reviews. But at this point I can only surmise that they're bogus reviews. These umbrellas will NOT hold up in any normal beach wind. Case and point, the second day on the beach the umbrella top separated from the pole. which is held in by a small, thin screw through the aluminum pole into a 1" piece of plastic at the umbrella's base. The 3rd beach day the 2nd of the pair we purchased began to pull apart just like the first. We were able to limp it along enough to get through the day. Wish we hadn't made this purchase. AVOID!

Bought this umbrella to replace some 8- to 10-year-old beach umbrellas. Came in a sturdy carrying bag with decent over the shoulder strap. First day at the beach we set up camp with 6 umbrellas for our group.Two of my older ones and my new one. Long story short a gust of wind came along and blew the top of the new umbrella off. It was held on with one small skinny screw and when the gust of wind hit the umbrella, it ripped the screw through the plastic cap that held it to the pole. It can be fixed but should have a stronger top attachment.
