Just as good as the other leading brand
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Vevor Cab Machine, and overall, I'm quite impressed with its performance and features. The machine has proven to be a reliable and efficient tool for my cabbing projects, showcasing Vevor's commitment to quality craftsmanship. The construction of the machine is robust, and its design allows for smooth operation. The motor runs quietly, providing ample power for grinding and shaping gemstones. The water cooling system works effectively, ensuring that the machine remains cool during extended use.One standout feature is the versatility of the Vevor Cab Machine, allowing me to work on a variety of materials with ease. The adjustable settings make it simple to achieve the precise results needed for different cabbing projects. However, there is one noticeable flaw that has slightly dampened my overall satisfaction with the machine. The pan hole, unfortunately, is off-center. While this might not be a dealbreaker for everyone, it does pose a minor inconvenience to have to re drill the hole so it pan will fit flat.Despite this issue, the Vevor Cab Machine remains a solid choice for lapidary enthusiasts.

Outstanding value for the price
I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled to about this lapidary machine. I have been looking at getting a 6 inch cabbing machine for a while and there are some very nice ones out there in the $1400 range, but then I cam across this for under $900. Whoah, do I pulled the trigger and hoped for the best. The good: it's cheaper than anything other than a used machine where you don't know how it eas used previously. It came on time, actually early, and was fully assembled, except for setting up the water system. The wheels are decent quality, and I was cabbing 30 minutes after unboxing. The bad: only thing I found was one of the holes to hold the peg on the bottom of the drip tray was a bit off and had to be routed out a bit to set it flush. The wheels run from 2 hard wheels and 4 soft. Can't complain.I've done about 60 cabs on it so far and it's going strong. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase!

Good for the price
I am a stone cutter. The machine over all is good. Has a sleek appearance and easy to use. It is price effective as I’ve used another popular high price machine. Noise is about the same as the other and it is a machine and it’s going to make noise. The down side is the light. It should have a longer flexible shaft to direct the light to the wheels. So hopefully the manufacturer will read this and hopefully make adjustments with the lighting. Otherwise just buy an additional light which is what I’ll be doing. You can’t cut cabachons properly without proper lighting. So please change the light.

Great machine!
Love this machine, works great. Wanted to post a little hack I have done with being able to use lap discs on the ends of the drums. You will need 6 inch lap discs with 5/8 or 16mm arbor holes and bolts to secure in 16mm 2.0 pitch. You will also see a platformI bought that I can position close against the lap disc. You can also use this when using the cutoff blade as shown though I had a different bolt type and length for that. Also needed to add a lock washer to the hex bolts listed below as the depth inside the end drum is quite shallow. Poor build quality
Quite frankly, the build quality is simply lacking. There were numerous assembly issues with the machine I purchased. The water control valves are sporadic and difficult to adjust. I have one that doesn't work, at all. The trim saw blade does not fit on the provided spindle sleeve. I don't know if it's the sleeve, or the blade hole, but it renders the trim saw useless. There were other fit and finish issues which others have already mentioned in their reviews, so I'll refrain from piling on top of those. It doesn't have a side polishing wheel like the competitive models. I thought I could easily find one to installed, but have not been able to locate one that will fit. I requested a refund on the unit, but regrettably ended up taking a price reduction instead. In retrospect I wish I had taken a full refund.
