Easy to integrate!
This is a nice little switch. I am using Home Assistant and ESPHome for my devices, so I needed to convert this to ESPHome fist. That was an easy process:1. Power it up and join it to my network2. Update it to tasmota-lite to give it more free space3. Configure an esphome entry for it and build the firmware4. Upload esphome via the tasmota firmware update screenIt is working perfectly for me. The switch also controls a couple of smart plugs and the response between clicking the switch and the plugs turning on is practically instant.

Much Improved great switch
I purchased the previous version of this switch in October of 2022 and I found that one lacking(rated 3stars). I received this one last night and installed it today March 31, 2025.Installation was easy took me less than 30 minutes(including the wireless connection), but would have been 10 minutes if I was not showing my daughter how to change a light switch. I am most impressed with the improvement on the manual button, pervious model took 2-5 seconds from when you pressed the button until it turned on or off, now it is instantaneous. I have tasmota on many devices in my smarthome and love having it installed on this device and the version mine came with is 13.0.0 and the current version is 14.5.0 so a close version easy to upgrade. My only con for this switch is that the body is all plastic for me not a huge con as where I installed it is a 1 gang box so I had plenty of room and was not cramming the switch in where it might crack the case or the mounts (have had that happen before on a different switch). In all I will be buying more of these as I get to areas in the house where I want to install smart switches. I wish I could give a half star as I would rate this at 4.5 stars excellent switch for the money.

Preloaded Tasmota makes it so much easier.
Like any other switch to install (except the neutral requirement), but the preloaded Tasmota makes this very easy to integrate into any MQTT-based IOT setup. I really appreciate that Martin Jerry is supporting the Home Assistant crowd, unlike some others who try to block open standards and lock users into vendor apps. Good product and good price.

Poor Physical Design and Functionality
At first I thought it came jammed.Only the bottom half of the "rocker" is pressable. This is not a rocker type switch and this is not like other rectangle shaped switches where the entire center rectangle is pressable. When pressing the bottom half it gives the feel of something that is jammed / cheap quality.

Tasmota!
Super easy to set up and use for diy projects, thanks to tasmota.I took off a star because some of the soldering wasn't great and I'll have to resolder one of them. When stripping the line wire, they cut a third of the strands, so the connection to the circuit board isn't what it should be. Also one of them didn't have any of the leads on the board trimmed. I like to look inside devices like this before installing and this is why.

Great switch with Tasmota Pre-flashed
If you are here buying a Tasmota smart switch then you most likely already know what you want and are doing. These can be easily flashed with ESPHome as well. I personally prefer Tasmota over ESPHome, but I still run some ESPHome Devices. Ive been using another brand (Athom) but they have been harder to get, These Martin Jerry switches came with version 13.0.0 pre-flashed and worked great out of the box. These are a momentary switch, but I dont have any issue with that. Anything extra I Want from it, I can get from MQTT.If you are not running home assistant or another smarthome hub, this is not the switch for you. It is not cloud based, it does not have an app. If you hate cloud services and run something locally hosted, this switch will work great for you!

Good unit
This Tasmota pre-flashed unit works out of the box with no internet connectivity requirements. You will need a wifi network with DHCP, but that's it. I disassembled the unit and the build quality was good, it appears to be on-par with other name-brand in-wall modules I've bought at the local home center. The main switch is a proper microswitch, not a cheap PCB pushbutton, so it should last. The tactile feel is different from a regular switch, though, so be advised. The Tasmota firmware supports a timer mode so this is a no-brainer replacement upgrade for in-wall timers. I recommend and am glad this company is making them.
