Worth every penny
Surprisingly, real leather. Feels lovely. Well crafted. No issues with stitching that I can see as yet. Not sure how long it will last as the leather is on the slightly thinner side but that helps it to be given a good shape when stuffed. The only negative I can see is that the zip is not especially sturdy. The zip is itself covered with two strips of leather which will protect hardwood floors like mine from any scratches.Into mine I have placed: a queen size duvet, the duvet cover and two pillow cases, two thick bed pillows, an anti-allergy pillowcase, and still have room for more - though I don't want to overstuff it and cause the zip to burst. It holds much more than you would think...I am SO pleased with it that I opened the packaging ten minutes ago and have already written this review. Bravo, Louis Donné.

Pure quality and style!
This is an amazing footstool/pouffe. I filled it using 5 old cushions and some old toy stuffing. This is so well made and the stitches are solid. You can just tell it is a real quality product. It is wide enough for my fat feet and is at a perfect height to rest my legs. I am so pleased I am considering purchasing more in a different colours for around the house. There is a zip on the base to fill the covering but this causes no problems on my carpet (it doesn't catch). This really is good quality and excellent value. Received the next day from ordering too in the Highlands (at no extra cost).

Pouffe
Lovely colour blends with my decor. The pouffe is large when filled and takes quite a lot of filling to make it firm. Very useful to raise my feet and legs when relaxing. Also useful for extra seat.

Buy it.You won't be disappointed..
I wanted one of these to put my feet up to stop my legs from aching when I'm sitting on the sofa..Can't believe how big it is.It's perfect.Really well made and it looks real leather.I stuffed mine with an old king size 15tog duvet and it fit perfect without adding any extra..If it goes flat over time I'll just add an old cushion.I've got My feet up now..:).I love it..Many Thanks:).

Used as a footstool and I love it
First thing's first - as the advert say, it is supplied unfilled. Ignore negative reviews from people who failed to read that. Second - do not underestimate how much it takes to fill this thing! I measure mine as about 580mm diameter and just under 400mm high, which is quite a bit of volume to stuff, bearing in mind it needs to be reasonably firm to be useful. When reviewing filling material, it all appears to be sold by weight with no indication of volume, so I punted for a cheap set of 4 pillows, replaced a couple of used ones on the bed and filled the pouffe that way. It wasn't quite enough and I then bought a set of four cushion insides and it took three of the them to pack it to a firmness that suited me. It makes it nice and simple to unstuff as and when needed.I saw comments that mentioned the bottom zip marks the carpet - well it does but only as an imprint as far as I've experienced. I move mine around a fair bit and the marks always spring out after a short while. I've seen no evidence of any permanent marking or scoring or suchlike.Overall, I am very happy with it and it is popular with visitors, who always nick it for their feet!

looks rather plastic
fabric to soft for the structure of the pouffe

Requires a lot of stuffing
Good product but it takes an awful lot of stuffing. I found it just as expensive to buy the filling as the product itself
