Q: Item states that it is 'replacement for subaru impreza 2021-2017'. however, amazon confirmed fit states that it doesn't fit 2018 impreza. so, does it?

It fits years 2017 to 2021 Impreza and Crosstrek. No problem. I have used them on my 2018 Crosstrek.

Q: How do you replace the rubber strips? I want to put in my spares and I cannot figure out how to remove the old ones without destroying them.

Q: Do these blades come with the cap that snaps them onto the arm?

My blades went onto a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter. The blade itself has no cap. The old blade bends out and the cap is on the wiper arm, and it slides open when you remove the old blade. The new blade snaps onto the arm and the cap slides over it. There's a YouTube video that shows the process on a 2019 Freightliner, which is the same vehicle as the Sprinter.
