Janome 634D Serger is great!
Well made serger. Like many of the older styles, re-threading after a thread break is a pain SO don't let the thread break! Compact, durable, able to serge multiple thicknesses of fabric and if you keep the blades in good condition (e.g. don't serge over a pin) it will handle all types of fabric from sheet to coarse.

Janome serger
Serger in good condition. Works great. Great price. Thank you. I have a very successful in home sewing busines. I was apprehensive about the purchase, but I'd read that Janome makes good machines. I am happy that it works so well, although it is not as "user friendly" as my Pfaff Hobbylock.

Great machine! I'm wondering why I waited so long to purchase a serger. I thought it would be hard to learn how to use, but it's not. Threading is easy if you can follow instructions. I practiced on scrap material to get the feel for about 15 - 20 minutes. Now I can't wait to get back in the sewing room.

Love it!
I was scared to purchase a serger, considering the reviews of how difficult they are to thread, etc. However, this serger came pre-threaded, so you just tie on your thread and pull it through. Also, this wasn't quite as easy to convert to rolled hem as the description states. You have to remove a needle, change tensions, etc. Still not horrible, but it takes a few minutes and makes it more difficult to convert back to regular serging. I was hoping to be able to do both rolled hemming and serging on the same projects, but it will be more time-consuming than I hoped. I'll probably just keep it on rolled hem and keep using my pinking shears. Overall, though, it works well!

Great Serger!
This is my wife's third machine in her sewing room (the other two are Brother Embroidering machines)and after she learned how to properly thread this model, she told me she didn't know how she got along so long without it. It does exactly what it says it will do.
