Great purchase

"Say goodbye until it hurts, stormy skies and fireworks"First listen was ok, after that got hooked... Lyrics are so random but yet coherent and catchy. Thank god for Matt Skiba because this is pure gold and would even go on a whim and say one of my favorite albums of all time even though it sounds over produced and clean :)

spectacular. i've had to think about it for a few days before making the bold claim: disc 2 is even better than the original songs, which are fantastic. feels the same as when i had to ponder that the empire strikes back is better than the original star wars. this is now the 2nd best album in the history of the world, next to angels and airwaves i-empire

Love it! So happy they've got their sound back! No Tom means, every song no longer has to sound like you're taking flight. I love it so much more when these guys are grounded. The new songs play so well with the rest of the album. Hail to the kings of punk rock!

Deluxe could have been a very successful EP. If they keep writing like this, they'll get a lot more #1s than they had as kids. Matt Skiba has arrived!

As far as the music goes this is an UNBELIEVABLE package. The first disk was 80% a perfect record, now that they have added a second disk i expected to listen to it and go "yep, i cant see why these didnt make the final cut" but i think the second disk is just as good as the first, without the handful of songs that i just didnt feel fit with the first disk ( Los Angeles, Teenage Satellites). If you dont own the original then this Deluxe Edition is a MUST own for any Blink fan, i personally would say for any fan of melodic rock music. If you already own the original then prepared to be disappointed. The artwork is the same except for some color swapping, they repackaged the original lyric booklet, and added a second one with just lyrics again. I was hoping for some pics, especially since this is their debut album with Matt Skiba. I had heard that some of these songs were left over, some were newly written songs. I was hoping for some liner notes describing which songs came from what session, a little info on the songs...something, ANYTHING! Alas, there was nothing. They are just lucky that the music (which is definitely the most important part) was so damn good!

This is not Blink 182 of my childhood, but this is a stellar album!
