Works nice
I absolutely love this thing it's bright it works good very easy to install

Accurate and very simple to install
My harley volt meter looked like it was putting out 15-16 volts. With only 2) 1/4”male spade connectors needed, I took out the Harley guage, put this one in and when riding, it held steady at 14.0 and 13.8 at idle. It bounces .2 volts occasionally but well worth it! Now I feel comfortable with the charging system. The numbers are dark blue- a little hard to see in the direct sun but for piece of mind- it’s worth it. It also has a red warning symbol if it should overcharge 👍🏻The harley light bulb wasn’t needed.

An Actual 2 Inch Gauge
Wanted a basic voltmeter that fit into a 2" knock-out. Many panel voltmeters listed on Amazon are much smaller in size. Not much of a problem if you're making your own mounting hole, but if you are using an existing gauge hole, then size obviously matters.Highlights: Easy to install with a threaded ring on the back side of the gauge. Included cable with connector (gauge end) is appropriate in length. Easy to read in daylight, so it's suitable for outdoor power equipment.Weaknesses: There's no way to dim the display, so it's obnoxiously bright at night. The red low voltage warning indicator is probably the dimmest LED in the display. The continuously lit "Warning" label is brighter. Accuracy is not superb, but it's likely acceptable for most applications. It seemed to measure within 10% when compared to a high-quality voltmeter (Fluke). Response time was a bit slow, but possibly this is due to capacitive filtering within the gauge to remove voltage spikes oftentimes present on small engine charging systems.Wishes: Add a dimmer signal input that can be coupled to the dashboard light system so brightness roughly follows dashboard lighting. Or, at the very least, add an ambient light sensor to dim the display in dark conditions. Get rid of the little red warning LED and just make the word "WARNING" flash, with a bright red LED when the voltage is determined to be below nominal levels.
