Awesome Swords
Purchased for cosplay and play combat with children. Absolutely tough as nails. Clashed at full force by 10 year olds and adults and not a mark. Painted for cosplay with regular rattle can. Scuffed with Brillo pad, wiped with alcohol and it was ready for paint. The sword does stay in the scabbard very well with no tsuba (cross guard) but with the tsuba, it is loose and can slide out. That’s my only con. Love these. Great for adult to train with or child to play and it won’t bend, crease, or break. It is hard plastic so use best judgement with children.

Good practice blade for beginners
The media could not be loaded. This has more perks than flaws for sure. I bought this as a gift for a younger person who's interested in having a katana one day. This is more of a prop than it is a toy, so I figured this would be good at demonstrating how to properly handle a real katana one day. The scabbard is really what ties this together. I have a polypropylene sword myself, but it didn't come with a scabbard, and I've seen some that dont hold the katana in place very well without it sliding out. I have a real katana, but don't want to constantly practice with a sharp blade, this is the perfect middle ground between just a bare practice sword and the real deal. The only slight complaints I have are that it seems a little flimsy compared to my other polypropylene katana, lighter too. This one's still really tough and should hold up in light sparring. Mostly it's just fun and the scabbard more than makes up for the light weight. This thing is the same size as a real katana, just lighter as I said. The scabbard seems to hold it in place pretty well, and you can even do the thing with your thumb on a draw where you press the tsuba slightly to the side to get a satisfying samurai feeling. Like I said, it's a gift for a younger teen, so who knows how long it will last with him whacking trees and whatnot, but I can confidently say it feels pretty good and is really fun. Overall I'd give it around a 4.5 out of 5 given what it's purpose is intended for.

Awesome Katana
I bought this for my Tanjiro from Demon Slayer cosplay. It is a very sturdy Polypropylene sword. The blade flexes but not likely to break easily. The scabbard is just as great. Love practicing pulling out the katana and sheathing it.

Good blade
I have a group of friends that are somewhat trained in HEMA and Kendo, and everynow and then we get together amd spar on the weekends. I wanted to see how a Katana would hold up to a longsword, and chose this one specifically because of it's legth. The blade/hilt is one piece, of course, and is really well made. It holds up great, and the length is perfect for keeping a longsword at bay. The scabbard is okay, but scratches very easily. The handgaurd, however, Shattered into 5 pieces the first time I used it. It took 1 hit from the opponents longsword and exploded. I replaced it with the handgaurd off of a different polypropylene katana, one made of a better material, and it has since done just fine.TL/DR: Great sword, decent scabbard, horrible handgaurd

Perfect for my sons Deadpool costume
My son loved this thing! It was the cherry on top! Weight was good for him, great price for the quality, functionality was great as it slid in and out smoothly, very durable and looks great!

Get this for a person who loves weapons.
The media could not be loaded. Super sturdy and fun can be used for light sparring and great for practice my sun has kept this on for 4 hours straight. Only bad thing is it doesn’t come with a belt to put the sword on to. Overall though great basically the real deal just dull.

Great prop or non contact trainer
Makes for a great Cosplay or costume addition for sure. Seems balanced enough to work on movement if you’re wanting to train a little, but it’s quite light though. Cool piece of kit for any costume/character needing a samurai sword.

Excellent training sword!
My all-black polypropylene sword arrived a day early. It’s rugged and can take a beating. The tsuba is removable and the saya is sturdy. For fun, I decided to paint mine to make it look a bit more realistic. As you can see in the photos, now the only thing that’s still black is the Ito wrap and the saya. I’m very happy with the way it turned out! Im loving this training sword and now It’s actually pretty enough to display.
