UNBELIEVABLY good - according to my Fluke
(£42.49 Jul 2023)I have an OLD 90's Tandy/Radio Shack multimeter my dad bought that still works, but the readings were significantly different from the 4yrs+ and 1yr+ old cheap chinese ones. Time to get something that can be trusted.Who or what are Kaiweets?I didn't know who they were - I knew who Fluke are, but Kaiweets? No chance.Well, now I know. They were highly rated by multiple reviewers on that video website and for ~£40ish quid, they were worth a try.In the 90's you had heard of Fluke, but you couldn't justify buying one unless you were in the trade. Now you can. Bought this to pair with a nice new Fluke 17B+ (~£140) as the cheap chinese ones were going out now.The Kaiweets voltage readings were consistently the same as or differed by 0.01% from the Fluke - that is OUTSTANDING and I did not expect that.I was ready to throw the cheap chinese meters away - not the Tandy! It has a calibration potentiometer inside, and is carrying the torch onwards again.Opened up the cheap chinese one, which to be fair, looks good and has a great screen, and it too also had a calibration potentiometer inside - what dya know? Would not have been surprised if it had been factory calibrated and the potentiometer skipped to save 3p in manufacturing costs. All old meters calibrated to Fluke standards and all is well.Really impressed with this meter. It has some great functions that others do not have and it's accuracy is fantastic at this price range, only gripe is how many times you have to press the selector button but seriously, it's not a gripe, it's an observation, because, anything that can be in the conversation of a Fluke at fourty odd quid demands respect and admiration. If you need a multimeter, just get the Kaiweets. Seriously. If you want a Fluke more than you need it, get a Kaiweets. If you still want the Fluke, get both - now you can drop one and not be saddened as it hits the floor,or you might be with either of them to be honest.

USER FRIENDLY
Being a novice in the field of electronics, I wanted a multimeter that was easy to use for hobby projects and electronics education. As an amateur in this field, this meter is ideal for me, and I would anticipate that it would also meet the needs of a professional. An excellent product which I have no hesitation in recommending.

Good value for money
Good quality meter, pretty impressive and accurate.Only gripe is the spacing of the lead connections being approx 15mm. Usually this is approx 20mm.This spacing prohibits the use of a k-type thermocouple adapter used on other meters.Yes-you get a thermocouple with the meter however there are other types of thermocouples, immersion and surface whichAre readily available but of no use for this meter because the standard plug is k-type.Could the manufacturer not produce a K-type Adaptor for this meter at minimal cost.I modified a standard 20mm adaptor which works perfectly.Would have give 5 stars if not for this.If thermocouples not an issue for you would highly recommend.

Kaiweets smart meter
This meter is excellent. I do have a few meters but I prefer to use the Kaiweets. The screen is large and bright and you can see the info on it at a very wide angle. i really like the auto mode when testing different componets, not needing to keep turning a knob to find the settings to test stuff. You can test a diode with the leads then just test a capacitor with the leads without touching the meter. It also has manual mode too. Its works really well and very pleased with it. It comes in a sturdy case so goes in my tool chest nice. The only thing not great on it is the leads, not of best quality but I have replaced them with much better ones and I think its more accurate now too with better leads. But still gets 5 stars.

Very versatile meter, lots of functions, nice probes and case included
Seems to be popular with lots of electronics vloggers.Watched the reviews and decided to take the plunge, I bought the extra lead kit too.The auto mode is handy for a quick measurement but it’s easy to select one of the many functions this meter has, even a touch free mains detector. It’s pretty comprehensive and even has a torch if you need it.Comes with two sets of batteries.Only thing it’s lacking, a stand, don’t know why that was missed off this or their other meters, seems strange but it does come with a nice case.I also like that the probes are pointed, not rounded, much easier for sticking on IC legs and getting solid voltage readings.I’ve used it a few times now and I’m very happy with it.
