Lamona Genuine Oven Cooker Dual Grill Element Heater (2200W)

Bought from Amazon after checking I'd got the correct one. Checked out Youtube on how to fit and followed the on-line video. Really easy to fit with the video help, so saved a bit of money. Just the job. Everything arrived when stated and in good order. Great!!!

I have finally found what I have been looking for. For some reason I could not find this particular style of oven element by Lamona anywhere for a half decent price and then I stumbled across this. So happy it is probably a little sad. This is very easy to change, and that is saying something as I am a non-electrical female with her non-electrical boyfriend to hand, but using common sense and instructions on youtube I managed this in less than an hour with an extra pair of hands. Had I been along it may have taken around two hours (I am not quick with a screwdriver). I have a built in cooker unit so to start with I simply undid the screws holding in the cooker and slid it out, surprisingly not even too heavy! (Try taking the glass out of the oven door first, plus a torch may help to find the screws). top the back of with a few more screws and a wiggle and followed the heating element through to the screws at the back top of the oven. Undid, swapped for new one, screwed it back into place and put the back of the oven on. Popped the oven back in it's place, two more screws and away it went, red hot and straight again. Just in time as my old one looked worse once out and in light. Don't be afraid to try it yourself, it is really not too hard, good savings on money as well. May buy one or two more for back up!

The Mrs nagged me about the grill not working properly for ages so I bought this element for her as a gift. She wasn't happy and to add insult to injury or rather injury to insult she cut herself on the rear oven panel while fitting it. The old broken element turned out to be quite a dangerous projectile when thrown across the kitchen ! Funny blokes women ?

Delighted with this element. Speedy delivery, well packaged. Happy with the price and even happier that we saw on you tube how to take out our double oven from the built in unit and how easy it was to change this element. We used our workmate bench to hold in place undid all the back screws, undid element, replace element, half an hour later back in built in unit and heating perfect. Job done and no need for extra expense of getting in an electrician. Couldn't feel more smug.

Good product, very easy to install and as you would hope gets nice and hot. The only problem we have is that one of the screws that hold it i to the top of the oven keeps popping out, so we need to find a new screw.
