WIN/WIN ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a great gift for kids of any age. I recently gave this for my child’s friend‘s birthday party who was turning nine. His brother who was 12 was eyeballing it the whole time and asking his mom if he could get one? lol they’re so excited to watch it grow and the light is really pretty. something fun and educational at the same time at a reasonable price!! Very cool idea!

Nice kit. Everything included. Well put together set.
I have posted photos of everything that comes in this kit, except the jar itself. The jar looks just like the photos already on this page though. And is made out of a decent quality plastic. Not super high quality but also high quality enough for the needs.I haven't actually started using this kit yet, but wanted to review the items that it comes with anyway. I don't forsee any problems with using the kit, but will update it any issues arise.I'm not particularly fond of the bunny and mushroom house miniatures that come with it, but they would be cute for a younger child. I bought this for my 11-year-old son so he probably won't include those.I couldn't see anywhere on the product page what type of seeds it came with. I was pleased to find out that it comes with two kinds. They are mixed in the bag, so they will grow randomly if you just dump the seeds out, rather than separating them first. The two types of seeds are wheatgrass, and sage. Both are edible, which I think is a nice addition, too. I imagine once they've sprouted you could replant them into a small herb garden, if you had one or wanted to make one. Then could replant more seeds inside the terrarium jar.To be clear, the light up jar lid is not "glow in the dark". It lights up because it has an LED light inside of it. This needs to be charged for it to work at night. I posted a photo of the charging cord that comes with it. I'm nervous about losing it because it's not the same kind that I use with any of my devices at home already. But I imagine it could be replaced if necessary. Something good to know in advance about the LED light is that it says in the manual it will take "2 to 3 hours to fully recharge the light". "Once the light is fully charged it should shine for approximately 4 hours." To me that seems like an awful long charging time for an awfully short amount of usage. And it could be difficult to make sure to charge it every day, if you plan to use the light every night, but also to keep the terrarium in a sunny and warm spot during the day, as recommended for growth. The sheet of stickers they give you to put on the outside of the jar is a nice little mixture of nature designs. I really like that these are not just standard stickers. They are the type that cling but are easily removable, and readjustable. Like- the clear plastic that clings to other plastic or glass, if you know what I mean. This comes with a very well made guide, that has nicely laid out step by step instructions for setting it up. And the kit has everything you need, except the water to go in the spray bottle. The spray bottle itself, by the way, is exceptionally adorable! I've never seen a spray bottle that I thought was cute before now. Lol.I'm looking forward to helping my son set his up, and watching it grow with him. I think it's a nice way to start growing things from seeds, without having to contend with the outside world and the potential dangers to sprouting plants that being outside poses. 😀

Great gift
My son is six, and I'm finding myself taking care of the plant. I would recommend putting the lid on first to see where the back and front is in order to know where to put the decorations. Do that before you put the seeds in. It only took a couple of days to see the seeds sprout. They're sprouting everywhere and things look good already. Each day is nice difference in growth. I'm very happy with it even if I have to take care of it until my son learns. The room doesn't light up as much as I wanted, but it's still really nice with the lid cutouts. The light doesn't seem to last long on a charge. I have to plug it back in after an hour or so.

Fun project....missing parts
It was a blast to put together with my 11 year old son. However the website that it originally came from was down at the time as I was hoping for some more guidance and explanation of the project for me and my son.Tried to YouTube but wasn't very successul in what I could find for kids. All DIY terrariums.I will be purchasing or maybe just doing a DIY terrarium. But the seeds didn't grow very well, just some random grass pieces. The light did work great, but it only lasts 4 hours max so you have to remember to charge the cover everyday. No specifications on if it should be in direct sunlight during the day or anything about the care of it.Just instructions on which layers to put on when. Also missing the spray bottle that was supposed to come with it in the box. With the website down there was no way for me to even reach out to the company. So terrarium for an 11 year old! YES!! Which is why I gave it 3 stars.Great idea and fun to do, but a functioning website and short video about terrariums geared towards kids would have made it much more enjoyable and lasted....Get a terrarium but not from this company because there is no support at all.

Passed the test with a 4 year old.
My 4 year old granddaughter loved this. It was the present she was most excited to open and she’s still learning from it. I highly recommend.
