Great knife!
This knife is very well made. Fit & finish is 10 out of 10. Blade is razor sharp, perfectly centered, tight lock-up, no blade wobble, very smooth action, and has held the edge for quite a while now...Not trying to cut copper wire or split firewood with it like some of the stupid videos people make... It's a pocket knife. For the price, I'll buy this knife all day long compared to one that cost 10x just because it has an etched butterfly/usa on it. USA companies are pricing themselves out of business...you see it everywhere. I'd prefer something made in USA for a reasonable price, but hard to find anymore. You can lose or ruin a few of these before you worry about the $$$ spent.. Get one while you can!

Steel quality
I bought this along with another bugout style at a lower price. I mostly use the cheaper one. I like the blade, quite sharp. Both this one and the lesser priced one work well, they are nice and tight, no blade wiggle between the case. Lock works ok. While I like this knife I wonder about the steel. Advertised as Sv30 it seems sharp but coming from China I have to wonder about its quality. I am not saying Chinese merchandise is junk, just saying that Chinese stuff may not be as advertised, their government does not care much about truth in advertising. I have to say that given the price difference between this model with carbon fiber handle and the much cheaper model with a glass resin handle I would recommend the lower price version.

Great…for the price
As the owner of some Benchmade Bugouts, I’m not going to be overly critical of this clone. I do really like the carbon scales and the business end of the blade looks great. However the knife’s action is noisy as the lock bar slips over the back side of the blade that ends up resting on the blade stop pin when the knife is open. The bearings also feel a little rough compared to all of the knives I own that slide smoothly on bronze washers. This is my only knife with bearings, so I’m not sure what they typically feel like. The anodizing on the thumb stud is also starting to wear after 1 day of use. The last thing I’ll point out is that the lock bar isn’t making a great deal of purchase on the back of the blade when the knife is open, so I definitely think its lockup isn’t super strong. All this being said, it’s a nice beater knife at this price.

Initial first impressions
1 hair shaving sharp out of the box. Nice and thin blade. Not a hard use knife but a gentlemens edc.2 carbon fiber and overall finishing 90/95% especially at this price point3 did not want D2 steel not sure this is truly S30V but if at least a quality 440C I'll still be happy4 omega springs seem appropriately strong5 make sure you drop in a dash of quality oil on the bushing pivots (was very gritty but solved with oil. Pretty common with any new knife)6 anodized hardware seems to be ok not sure if titanium or aluminum definitely not ferrous material7 if this hold up well may purchase a couple as gifts.

Great small super light EDC knife
This knife looked great as soon as I opened it. It is a nice copy of the Bugout without being a true clone (no logo) The lock was a little gritty at first. If you get one and the lock doesn't feel great, do this. Get some dish soap and an old toothbrush. Wash it thoroughly under warm water with the dish soap. Be sure to get all around the lock area. Rinse it under running water or with the sink sprayer. Dry with paper towels and blow the excess water out. Then dry it with a hair dryer. Once it is dry, put a drop of oil on the pivot area and on the crossbar lock area. Work it several times. Wipe off any excess oil and keep working the oil in. After a bit, it will be smooth as butter. After the cleaning and oiling, this has become one of my favorites and the price is good considering the carbon fiber and light weight.
