I have been using this product for 90 plus days and I can say the dark spots on my hands though still there they are extremely lighter and less noticable now. I am continuing to use it hopefully the spots will eventually disappear...

I have been using this cream for more than three months, applying it only at night and only on the dark spots. The cream is rich, so a little goes a long way. I usually wait a few minutes after application before applying my serum and moisturizer. I have sensitive and combination skin, and I haven't had any breakouts after using it. So far, a couple of my dark spots look lighter, but the rest look almost the same. I will keep using it and hopefully it will lighten up the rest.

Unfortunately, my cream was damaged.The box had moisture stains and when it was opened the cream was everywhere . I attempt to use the little remaining in the jar but I haven't seen any results in a week.

Cosmesis Advanced Lightening Cream is a fragrance free treatment for dark spots. The directions say to use it “twice daily on targeted areas.” I have dry, mature, sensitive skin and have unusual contact allergies sometimes that I can’t always figure out. I have a few dark spots on my face that bug me and initially tried this cream on them, but it made my skin feel uncomfortable. It got an itchy and prickly sensation like bumps were going to pop up, but luckily I didn’t get bumps or a rash. I decided not to use it on my face as I didn’t want to risk a worse reaction.Instead, I applied this cream 2x a day to small areas with dark spots on the back of my hands as that area isn’t quite as sensitive and I was more willing to risk a reaction. It’s been about a week, and my skin is getting prickly, itchy and a light burning feel after use. I haven’t gotten a rash but feel something doesn’t agree with my skin and am discontinuing use. I don’t notice fading of dark spots on my hands but also wouldn’t expect such fast results. This cream has ingredients such as alpha arbutin that may help fade dark spots (though the % isn’t disclosed). This treatment may be good, but I can’t use it enough to make a recommendation. 3 stars. I try different products but am usually disappointed. I am surprised by this product. I really didn't think it would work either, but it does. I have a dime sized brown spot on my cheek and it was starting to get flaky as well. I have been using this product once a day for about a week and I am seeing a difference. The brown spot is smooth now and has changed color defiantly getting lighter. So, I have begun to use under my eyes and on other skin discolorations on my face. I have high hopes it is going to even out my skin color and change my complexion for the good. This cream is a bit high priced for me but, you use so little of it at a time. A small drop covers a large area.

What I like about this cream is that it's designed for targeted use. I have a few age spots on my arms and hands that I don't like, and faint ones on my face. Rather than apply this all over to even skin tone, I'm applying it just on the spots at bedtime. I can see a difference! They are fading. It works. It's a small jar, but since I'm targeting where I put it, it will last me a long time. Good stuff.

This is a rich but light-weight cream that feels nice on my skin and is moderately hydrating. I have tried several other products from the Cosmesis skin care line, and I have been happy with the quality and they have been effective for my dry, sensitive skin. I have only been using this cream for a little over a week, and the effects of using it are not as immediately obvious as some of the other products from this brand. So far, it is not remarkable in any way, and is not one of my favorites from this line, but I am hoping that with continued use it will help with a small area of hyperpigmentation I have on one side of my face near the jawline. I've been using a brightening serum that has been somewhat effective in lessening the appearance of the dark spot, but I would definitely like to see more improvement as well as an increase in my skin tone. Maybe using both products together will boost the performance of each one. This cream initially seemed as if it might be too thick, but it really isn't heavy at all. It is pure white with a consistency of cream that has been whipped to soft peaks but is not airy. It goes on easily and is absorbed fairly quickly. It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily and it is not irritating at all. It is also not as moisturizing as I expected from the ingredients, and the effects are not particularly long-lasting. However, it is nice for summertime, when I want to keep everything light. I use it in the morning and just apply another cream to help keep my skin hydrated later in the day. I appreciate that this cream is made in the USA (although some ingredients are sourced globally) and that the full ingredient list is shown in the product description. The cream is housed in a rather generic plastic jar with a screw-on cap. There is a shield under the cap and the product arrived properly sealed.

Have been using other cream/serum from this brand and all are working pretty well! This looks just ordinary white cream, not too heavy and not that oily. Easy to apply and absorbent. Great for sensitive skin (I sometimes feel stinging using new products, but not on this). Like it!
