Excellent kit for our club

This compact-sized first aid kit contains the basic equipment to deal with a wide range of injuries - it might be especially geared up for sports with the cool spray and double coolpacks and bandages for supporting possibly injured limbs, but the bandages for stopping severe bleeding, the rescue blanket and the resuscitation guard mean that this kit is equipped to handle with a wide range of emergency situations. This could work as a kit for your home or your car as well, considering it's got a good selection of basic first aid products. The bag is also spacious enough that you can add quite a few special products you might need, such as your personal medication you want to take onto a trip.The only real gripe would be the fact that the scissors provided with the kit are very small and potentially flimsy - I invested a couple of pounds on a pair of paramedic shears that I comfortably fit into the kit, for that extra safety.

Contrary to overall positive ratings I had a few reservations on receiving this kit. Fundamentally it's average, I accept £25 is not a lot of money but was disappointed after reading the positive reviews and was looking for a comprehensive kit for minor children's sports injuries, bumps, grazes etc. A few omissions, no safety pins, no tweezers, supplied scissors are tiny and flimsy and something out of playschool, feels like they have been put in as an afterthought. A few plasters, no medium adhesive dressings, no antiseptic cream, nothing to treat minor burns, not even a little sachet of gel etc. Ended up padding out the kit with some extra items which I accept you may have to do from time-time but would have been nice not to from the start. Also ok for maybe a family, not sure it would last your local football team long. Decent zippered carrier bag with handle. You may find more for your money elsewhere.
