Q: Does this also work on journalists bodies?

Quite possibly, but this one seems designed more for veterinary work than for use on humans. A saw with a slightly longer blade would allow for a longer stroke and thus lessen the fatigue for cutting through the thicker bones of a large primate. Although a longer blade might be easier, this model is very serviceable and fairly concealable.

Q: Is the blade stainless steel?....also do you offer replacement blades

I am no metallurgist, but the blade does seem to be stainless steel and is quite sturdy. I can not give a critique on performance, though: since I received the saw my neighbor has begun to take his responsibilities as a dog owner very seriously. As such, the animals have not come into my yard to attack my grandchildren again, so I have not had an opportunity to use the saw. I have no idea about replacement blades, but as inexpensive as this was, I would recommend just purchasing a new one.

This will cut through bone. So yes I'm sure it will cut crab legs as well.

Q: What is the height of this saw?

The blade itself is 2 in. The flange or whatever it’s called along the top edge adds just shy of an additional 1/2 in.
