The Wombles: The Original TV Series - Orinoco & the Big Black Umbrella and Other Stories [DVD] [1973]

I got The Wombles CD for our son and his daughter! It brought back lovely childhood memories for him, but our granddaughter wasn't too sure!! she is 2 1/2 so a little young.

for those who remember this in their youth, who have kids of there own, this is great. suitable for all ages, the kids thought it was really funny. the episodes are all very short. it's a pity there are not more of them

Bought this product ,for my 4 year old nephew, under the guise to remember my childhood as I`m now 45.The sound of Bernard Cribbins telling the stories and the memories came flooding back, of a time of innocence and no big bills.I gave the product 4 stars, as I felt, for the price this DVD would have been re-mastered.

It was great to watch the Wombles again. This DVD arrived faster than I expected and in excellent quality. Would recommended the seller.

The children absolutely loved watching one of the programmes today connected to our recycling topic. Even more so when I told them I had watch as a child.

Took me right back to the days of a short animation before the evening news...and of course narrated by the one and only Bernard Cribbins. Quality of the programmes is watchable, real film transfers to video and then dvd. I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.
