A slippery sports tire
I purchased this set of tires through this company's ebay listing. Before purchase, I consulted other outside reviews and found the general opinion of these tires to be poor, but I'd like to clarify that with a real performance driver's review.Let's start with the basics: they are comfortable, cheap and pretty quiet. However despite the "400" treadwear the tread compound is quite hard and the tires are very slidey, especially in rain. They have great directional control but poor lateral grip when pushed, and I wouldn't recommend them for a front-wheel-drive car at all. On a rear-wheel car however, these tires really shine. The asymmetric tread pattern and stiff compound encourages oversteer which can help in cornering, but the soft sidewall makes it easy to control and they have great grip under acceleration. In rain the tires resist hydroplaning well, but again the tires' cornering performance is very encouraging of oversteer, if you try to accelerate hard out of a turn, your car will most certainly slide a bit. If you have a "fun" car and enjoy this sort of thing, this is ok, these tires are amazing, but if you just want a cheap commuter car tire, look elsewhere.I have not had the opportunity to try the tires in snow or ice, but I imagine the performance will be similar.Drive with care.

Great product and a timely delivery!
The products came in earlier than I anticipated, a brand-new set that looked perfect. My only concern was with the UPS delivery driver, who, instead of leaving them at the front door, left them sitting on the walkway leading to the front door, which exposed them to "porch pirates." Overall, it was a great buy, and I would always recommend and purchase it again.
