Best I’ve found for my small dood mix. His hair was constantly matted and tangled. A mutt of sorts so I don’t know what he is entirely but he has a soft curl and a dood like appearance. Keeping him shaved short was the only option. We never get to enjoy his curls. Tried shampoos with added and separate conditioners but what dog wants to get shampooed and then have conditioner applied?? Not mine! Most shampoos and conditioners I’ve tried leave a film, hard to rinse and seem to attract dirt. This is the only shampoo I’ve found that rinses easy and leaves him soft and fluffy for weeks. He is free of mats and is finally able to embrace his curls. I have spent a ridiculous amount on dog shampoo. It’s never cheap!! This is affordable and effective with a gentle amount of scent. I feel terrible when my dog is drowning in perfumes. It makes me miserable so I’d assume it makes him as well. He is now clean soft and fresh. We Love Doodles is a great brand and I’ve added the spray detangler, which comes in an huge bottle. I also love the ear products….another thing I’ve spent a fortune on! Glad to find a brand I can trust that will do what it’s supposed to do.

I love that this product is made in the USA and is organic made for poodle curls. I have a cockapoo and when he dries after his bath he is so fluffy and soft. I groom him myself and the next day the clippers glide right through his soft fluffy hair. The shampoo lathers up and rinse out well. He has thick hair so it takes several rinses. His coat is shiny and smells fresh. It's not an overbearing scent.

The shampoo was good as a shampoo and seemed mildly more effective than a regular dog shampoo for detangling my doodle. I had fully combed his hair before his bath, and was hoping that after using this shampoo I could run my fingers through his wet hair, commensurate with my own hair after using conditioner. However, I couldn’t. I could comb through his hair with a little tugging. I toweled him dry, then used a hair dryer on a cool setting and holding it out about 12 inches from his hair. After he was dry I could comb through his hair with mostly no tugging, but it wasn’t smooth. His sheepadoodle hair is extremely soft and wavy, but not curly. It’s almost 2” long. I was hoping I could let it grow a little longer for winter by using this shampoo, but unfortunately I won’t be able to. It has been six 6 days since I shampooed him, and I comb his full body of hair every day to keep it detangled and to prevent mats. Unfortunately, mats are still forming and I’m constantly seeking to eradicate them. I’m about as effective with mat-eradication, as the government is with the war on drugs. The most effective tool I’ve used in mat-eradication is Tropiclean Tangle Remover. It smells great and helps me comb through his hair with minimal resistance. However, because it is a leave-in product, it leaves a very slight residue in his hair, which increases a little each time I use it. Consequently, his hair is more prone to collect dirt and dust with this light residue. I was hoping that by using this shampoo I could forgo the leave-in detangle spray, but clearly 6 days after his shampoo and daily combing, his hair definitely still needs the detangle spray. I gave in and used it today and perhaps the combination of this shampoo and the detangle spray is a better solution. Bottom line - I recommend the shampoo but am still looking for a more effective resolution to his mats.

I have an Aussiedoodle this shampoo is fantastic! Leaves her fur tangle free and super soft. She smells clean and stays clean and soft for a couple 3 weeks! Brushing and combing are rangle free! I highly recommend it! Doesn't make her itchy at all!

We have two goldendoodles, one of them with a very thick, curly coat and sensitive skin. I have tried at least 12 different kinds of shampoo for him, and this one is far and above the best. So happy to have found the one! It lathers beautifully, smells great, and his fur is softer than ever. Best part is he isn't itchy after.Loving this brand so far. Their slicker brush is an absolute must if you have a curly doodle.

This shampoo was amazing for my Maltipoo . It lathered nicely & was easy to rinse out cleanly. I loved how her fur was so soft afterwards. It also had a nice soft fragrance. I’ve tried several shampoos & this is by far my favorite.
