Very well written with good examples. All concepts are explained in a very simple manner. If you are getting into trading this is a good book to start with. It is not the end all and be all for trading but the first step in your learning journey

The information seems great but when trying to understand the illustrations that go along with it they are black and white plus blurry which makes it hard to decipher.

I am a beginner trader and this book did exactly what I needed it to do which was to show me not just what indicators and patterns are but HOW and WHEN to use them. The only downside of the book for me was information related to volume because I can't get data on that with the forex; so I was thrilled to learn about it and then couldn't put it to use :(. Will definitely reference it if I ever get into stocks. This book will more than pay for itself with one trade if you use it correctly. I enjoyed exploring the charts during/after each chapter.

While I wouldn’t say this in the ONLY book on technical analysis that you’ll ever need, if you’re new to the subject or new to trading, this should probably be the FIRST technical analysis book that you SHOULD read. It covers just enough of each topic not to be overwhelming. The information is still very useful, practical, and applicable, yet leaves room to grow and learn as you evolve as a trader. There are no sales pitches in this book. It’s presented as a primer in my opinion, or to provide a foundation to a trader’s technical analysis toolkit. Lastly, the information reads well and is easy to digest.

The content of the book is very informative, however the illustrations of charts that have specific colors to indicate important information are in black and white.

I have read lots of trading books and I have to say this is a great one. Very clear and to the point and for me that’s a huge plus.

This is a must have book just like it states on the cover. As a beginner trader, you can go down so many rabbit holes. This book goes into detail on indicators and how they are used. It’s really helped me to understand what indicators I want to use trading. I’ll refer back to this book often. It’s my new trading bible.
