Expensive as you need about 3 teaspoons a cup
As a child, now and then mother would buy as a treat as it is expensive.I may be able to find malt powder and make my own, but you have to keep malt powder very dry. Any moisture from the air will turn it into hard lumps. I have read it may help you sleep which was one reason I bought it, and oh, my dog loves it too.I still like it but just save one cup for bedtime, but have to get up several times in the night for having a drink late at night.

Great for winter
Love a nice cup of Horlicks when those cold nights set in. Only use milk, tastes better with milk and not water. I even tried half water and half milk but it wasn't as tasty.
