Just what I wanted to find. This is the answer to the inadequacy of the wing nut, which can only get so tight without the help of pliers. In a tight space, with no other way to tighten on that bolt except the fingers of one hand, what you need is the ability to torque it down. This six-sided nylon & stainless steel nut provides the answer: you can grip it in many different ways and keep tightening until it's done. Just added a washer to make it a little smoother and it looks great, what I can see of it in that recess, holding it all together. Brilliant!

Happy with performance and design

These clamping knobs worked exactly as needed in a homegrown mounting bracket for couple of plastic "jam blocks" (percussion instruments similar to woodblocks).See photo. The knob shown in the center is tightening the DIY bracket to a tripod via a ⅜-16 bolt. As for the ones at the left and right sides, I used them as spacers rather than as tightening knobs. Probably not a recommended use, but they work fine for this purpose.They seem sturdy enough and the ⅜-16 threading is good in all knobs I received.I wish someone made clamping knobs like this with a flat upper surface rather than a rounded one. One of the product illustrations for these knobs makes it appear as if its top surface might be flat. It isn't. (Not a deal-breaker for me, though.)

Bought these to help secure an electric heater to the ceiling. Using as tightening knob for swiveling the heater from side to side. They were the correct size and seem to do the job.

I use these to replace hex nuts on a home made roof rack. They are much easier to install and remove than the hex nuts and are big enough to hand tighten without using a wrench. I would recommend this product.

Worked as described and send sturdy

I used this as a way to secure a travel golf bag and it worked well. Good quality for the money.

A lot smaller than I expected.
