I love doing business with small family owned companies especially when they have great products at great prices and C.B. Gitty is such a company. My cigar box guitars sound so much better with these strings. Although I'm a woodworker, I purchased two CBGs online just to give them a try. Now I'm anxious to build my own and C.B.Gitty will definitely be my source for parts such as tuners, pickups, etc., as well as tools and templates. By the way, shipping was super-fast. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Good quality strings, but may not be what you want.
These are great strings for your 3 string CBG. The product description says "Low G-Mid D-High G (SKU #34-015-01) is our most popular cigar box guitar string set". So beginners like me would naturally order this set of strings. But if you watch most of the YouTube videos for learning CBG the open G tuning uses Low G Mid D and Mid G. The high G should be a Mid G. That should be the most popular set. I have yet to see any video that uses the high G.

These strings work well for a cigar box guitar. GDG is common tuning and these strings fit the bill.
