The Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 runs whisper quiet and keeps my PC cool even when it's put to serious tests. I highly recommend this CPU cooler if you want the best for your money.

Keeps my 14700K just barely over 90C while running cinebench r23 with a package power of around 265w. 5.6ghz steady all core boost and used the included TF7 thermal paste. Just as good as any 360mm AIO. This is with a TR contact frame to ensure even contact, which I strongly recommend. It would cool a 14900K just fine too, but again, you're going to need that contact frame. Gaming temps are mid 60s, sometimes touching 70, but that's going to vary from game to game. Non-issue really.Fans are silent in a Fractal Torrent Compact with the fan curve set so they don't breach ~900RPM unless the CPU breaks 80C, and then they ramp up. This is not something that happens outside of encoding and synthetic loads. If you have issues with noise while gaming or general use, I recommend downloading FanControl and setting up a good custom curve. If you have issues with noise under full core utilization or while running synthetic benchmarks, well, that's normal :-)

This is by far the best cooler on the market. I’ve read other reviews about issues with quality control, and while I believe all them to be accurate, the cooler I received works as described and to specifications without any manufacturing defects. However, that being said, the installation process is not great for first time builders who may not be comfortable with the amount of pressure required to get the catch screws for mounting this to work. I struggled for 15min and took a break inbetween because of the frustration.Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase, and would recommend this unit for anyone looking for the best air cooler for the price on the market, but with I must give the warning that this can be a pain to install and should be factored in when considering any custom build.

I've been squarely a liquid cooling guy since my first AIO in 2012. I've used AIOs from ThermalTake, Corsair, and other brands. I even had a custom loop that I built for one of my systems. This air cooler operates on par with all of them for the cpus they were used on at the time I used them.I have this paired up with a Ryzen 9 5900X, it keeps the cpu under 80C under most loads from high end gaming to more resource intensive tasks like compiling code and video rendering. I've only seen it go above 80C a handful of times over the last four months that I have been using this air cooler.For the price, this thing is amazing.

Update: I received a replacement from Amazon, installed it successfully, and it's performing much better than the stock cooler. <<<<=====No idea how to install it. A lot parts doesn't match the manual.

Keeps my Ryzen 9 9900X that’s overclocked to 185W at a nice 85C while running the Cinebench R23 Multicore for a score of 34000! No need for a 140mm cooler. I hear the fans, but they are not too loud and I like the feed back when it gets busy. Idling, I hear nothing. I use an open case, so these are the only fans besides the GPU fan. That’s it.

This cooler goes toe to toe against more expensive coolers like the much more expensive Noctua NH-U12A.Mounting was a breeze and the cooler is solid and performs well. It keeps my 13600k around 90 degrees C in Cinebench R23 pushing about a 220W load. I hear the new EVO version of this cooler is even better and comes in all black.

Amazing cooler for the price
