Almost every food product, natural or man made, is "genetically engineered" in some way. Even "natural" corn on the cob has been "genetically engineered" through selective breeding and hybridization. If you've eaten food in the last 3000 years, you've enjoyed genetically engineered products.

It's likely considered a beverage, instead of food, which would allow it to be taxed in most states.

Q: does it have hydrolyzed yeast, autolyzed yeast extract or any other excitotoxin flavor enhancer added?

Glutamate, which is present in “hydrolyzed yeast”, AND mushrooms, and many other natural foods, IS NOT “MSG”! MSG, or Mono Sodium Glutamate, is a manufactured ingredient, and a fairly different ingredient than simple Glutamate.

Q: How much sodium is in this product?

The label says 890 mg of sodium for the original.
