Great, solid product
Great solid product. Money well spent. Be advised these are only good up to 22ga. Anything bigger (ie: 20ga) crimping becomes difficult and the punch gets stuck. I still use em for 20ga though all the time.

Framing 2x as fast
This simple tool made my last project take half the time or more. I used it to install metal studs in a basement renovation. Over 1000 sqft. I was able to install every stud in a day. Towards the end of the day it started getting a little harder to clamp them but that’s expected. If you can’t close it easily with one hand, especially at the start of the job the problem isn’t the tool… it’s your weak hands, rather then complain go work out. This tool will make you money.

This is a super time saver just to get things together and then you can easily fasten.

Nothing to dislike about these other than I did not get to use them and now need to try and return them.

Works as well as you would expect
The handle configuration looks a little different than other punches I've had previously , but that is what makes the working action of the unit so different and easy to use.This product will be less tiring over the course of a long day.The punch hole is large and strong, does what other punches do but better.

that has forearms like a pencil pusher
Very well made tool. I have no idea what the other reviewers were complaining about, but I crimp about 400 20 gauge studs a day with this thing. Unless you're a little Nancy, that has forearms like a pencil pusher, it goes through 20 gauge studs like butter all day long.

It IS good for those times when you're in a tight spot
I agree with the other 3 star review. It is less of a tool than the price reflects in my opinion. It IS good for those times when you're in a tight spot, but I wouldn't use it for a whole job. For one thing on 20 gauge material I think the force required to operate the tool is MUCH too large, especially for repetitive use. I would not use it for a whole job.
