The presentation alone on this is worth all the stars I could give it... beautiful box, beautiful bottle, very heavy and very ornate.It presents worth every penny... for me however the scent, while not bad... is too bold to wear as a cologne. I spelled the first time and I was transported to what I would believe was Morocco... or at least what I think it smells like. It's a smell that takes a bit to fully appreciate but hits hard and fast.I'm using it as a room spray... once every 3 or 4 days... it lingers.If you know this scent and appreciate it... you'll find worth in picking this up, but please visit a nice fragrance shop before hand if you don't know.

This cologne will certainly remind you of the perfume shops in the Middle East, where everyone loves the smell of this fragrance. All you need is about 2-3 sprays anything more than that will have people coughing that's around you. This Luxurious Perfume is powerful. It smells great and masculine. On the skin, it lasts 10 hours or more. -Out of six fragrances that i tried from this line this fragrance has to be my least favorite. It is just too pungent and smoky for my taste. I do get a good amount of leather and I feel it is a little too on-your-face strong. The oud in combination with all these thick and smoky accords is just a little too much for me. As a gourmand person I would have appreciated it if this fragrance was sweeter than it is.-This fragrance sure gets better after the initial spray dissipates, however, i do not like it enough to wear this.-This fragrance has very good longevity. Just one spray will last you all day.-If you like thick, dark and smoky fragrances you might like this one.

I myself adore perfume and cologne. This, however, is an acquired taste. It's overbearing and out of the 10 people I've asked, none of us were a fan.The packaging on the other hand is quite exquisite.

When you read the detail of this pay really attention to the smell “ smoke” . By smoke they mean, this is going to smell like you are covered in gas and lit on fire. Its awful, now if you want to smell like you were lit on fire don’t worry the cologne lingers. I sprayed it in my living room and now it smells like the corner gas station if it had been blown up.

The media could not be loaded. Everything about this fragrance, from the box, to the bottle, to the scent itself, is all very elegant and rich feeling.It would make for a beautiful gift if you know someone’s taste in fragrance. This one is more on the masculine side, but not so much that a woman couldn’t wear it. I feel like it’s gender neutral, leaning masculine but there is a hint of sweetness that has very sexy feminine vibes.I like to try fragrances on my skin for at least a couple hours to see how my body adapts to it .. and I have to be honest, I cannot stop smelling this. It’s very alluring… and somehow addicting (which usually means it goes well w my body).It reminds me a bit of Tom Fords Oud Wood.. but I actually like this one better.

I was uncertain if Sawalef by Swiss Arabian was meant for men or women, but I'm assuming they wanted to appeal to everyone as it smells like a scent both sexes could enjoy wearing, depending upon their individual preferences. The scent is earthy, warm, slightly spicy, and with a hint of citrus! It is definitely a strong musky scent so if you prefer subtle or more delicate scents, this perfume is not meant for you. I'm a woman who enjoys floral and also more powerful and sultry scents so I'm extremely happy with this product. From it's beautiful high-end packaging and gorgeous bottle, to the scent itself, I'm a new fan. The scent stayed strong for approximately 4 hours and held a faint scent for 2-3 hours after that. This perfume is definitely giftable, too! A+++ from me!

I really hate to write this review, as I understand that fragrances like this are so subjective.The presentation is very nice and elegant. Everything about it says quality.The scent however is not pleasant to either my wife or me. When you first spritz it into the air, the first hit of smell is ok and a bit musky. Something happens within a few seconds that makes it go south fast.To me it smells like a dirty diaper. My wife said she smells pesticides.My usual cologne is Polo Red or Obsession for men. Those are 5 stars to us. This is not.
