Very good Hungarian paprika. A huge difference in freshness, flavor, and color than store bought stuff. I need to buy a larger quantity, it's easy to use a Tbsp or more even in 1 bowl of homemade goulash.

As soon as I opened the bag, I knew from the scent that this paprika was different than any other I had ever had. It smelled like sweet and tangy peppers. I always thought that paprika was something you added just for color, but this has a distinctive delicate flavor that we enjoyed. I first used it in an Eastern European goulash, and bloomed the paprika in oil, releasing its aroma and its brilliant color. Even though it simmered for about three hours, it kept its flavor, which is mild, with no heat. I had planned to transfer the paprika to a glass jar, but the pretty package is sturdy and has an airtight seal, so I believe I will just keep it in the envelope for now. When first opened, the powder is a bit lumpy, but I just sieved the amount I used and it was fine. So much better than what you can get in the grocery store.

This is the best paprika I’ve ever had. It’s has a good flavor and is much more than the other paprikas I’ve had. I really feel like this adds to the taste of dishes.

I have never bought this brand of paprika. The brand I usually buy had gone up in price and I wasn't willing to pay such a high price for a small amount. I had been trying to decide to buy this brand for awhile, I went ahead and purchased this and I absolutely love it. It's a great price for a good amount and it tastes and smells wonderful. Not too hot but hot enough. I'm happy with this purchase.

Such a good price and in sufficiently large bag that I won't use it all within weeks! It's very good quality and much easier than direct orders to Spain. A staple in my spice line-up.
