This was a gift for my husband and he was impressed with the quality of both the knife and the leather sheath.

stop whatever you are doing and consider buying this knife
this knife is as if God came down from heaven and handed us one chance.having said that, there are some slight imperfections that may or may not bother certain owners:1) the hand guard developed some play after about a week of wearing the knife on a belt.2) one of the rivets is a little too long and protruded when you have a grip on the handle. again, a minor annoyance that can be tapped into balance with a brass hammer.I don't think any of those issues are going to matter to the mountain lion that you may have to defend yourself against :-)all in all great knife for the price point!

quality
the knife looks good and feels good in hand and sharpness is okay there are some small chips on spine of blade and over all quality seems pretty poor for money paid for knife the weight is lighter then I expected and functionality seems okay but I feel with any hard use it will break for something made in America I expected better would not recommend
