I keep a box in my car for emergencies, these work great! They don’t leak when closed and come with a wipe.

Nothing wrong with product just doesn't work for my husband.

Bag so easy to dspoze of waste .only frawback is udoes no make urine thicker like i thougbt .one has to be arecul to close bag tight to avoid spillage.

Easy to carry around and great for emergencies. The gel does a great job absorbing urine and there is no smell.

I have used urinal bags for years for camping, road trips, and just general emergency situations. I normally just get a random Japanese brand that always seems to be the cheapest, but liked that these came with a built in hand towel and thought that would further minimize what I've got to remember to pack.These have a rigid plastic top that you're supposed to fold over to keep open. The ones that I normally use just have a sort of foam flap at the top that you can press against your skin. I'm a woman and thought the plastic was less comfortable, but it did make for an easier more secure closure.I took these out to our last outdoor adventure and proceeded to urinate all over the floor of my privacy tent. I had heard the urine going into the bag at first, so I thought I was good, but either my aim was off, or there was an overflow issue. I chalked it up to user error, cleaned up and tossed my baggie. Later, my little kid needs a wee, so I get one out and set him up for it and it seemed like we were doing OK - he can aim a little better than I can because he can see what he's doing - but towards the end, he goes to give a little shake and urine spills out over the top all over my hands and his pants.In looking at how the bags are designed, they sort of pinch off a bit in upper half to create a funnel. In theory this works well to keep urine from spilling, but if you've ever poured a lot of liquid into a funnel faster than it can drain, you can see what was happening to us. The angle was just right to make it difficult for the urine to drain into the gel pack area and we had overflow issues.The Japanese travel bags I normally use don't have this funnel feature, so while you do have to be careful to not let the absorbent gel spill out when getting set up, it also means it can be used for other bodily fluids you have someone in your party who is prone to car sickness - they do a double duty. There's no way I'd want to use these bags for vomit since I don't think the liquid would make it down the funnel in time and I probably would only recommend these to people with the right parts to be able to see where they are peeing and can watch that funnel action to avoid spillover.

I wanted to try these for deer hunting. I sit all day in a deer stand and at some point nature will call. Deers can smell urine and wouldn’t come anywhere around if I used the bathroom in the woods. I have used bottles in the past but there are many problems with that like how small the opening is as well as the chance of it leaking in your pack when carrying it out. This idea solves those issues. It has a tab that keeps the bag opened while using it. Then flip it the other way to close and seal the bag. It turns to gel very quickly to help negate spills but it seals very well so I don’t see them leaking anyway. The best part is they seal up airtight so no odor escapes and scares the deer away. These would also work great on fishing and camping trips or to keep in your vehicle for “just in case” situations. I was once in a traffic jam where we moved less than 20 feet in 4 hours. I know this would have been a godsend during that time. There are so many situations I can think of where this would come in handy. Each one comes with a hand wipe as well which is a great idea. It says “only for hands” so I would recommend ladies adding tp or baby wipes in their kit.

If you've ever tried to grab a regular urinal for an elderly parent in an emergency then you may have ended up with a mess. Having experienced that a few times, I went in look for a solution. These are fantastic. Lightweight and easy to carry anywhere. We can keep the bag in the door of the car so they are quickly and easily accessible but won't weird out any friends that ride in the car. The flexibility of the opening is really wonderful when compared to a rigid plastic urinal that can be harder to position. I also love the wide opening. This makes it useful for males and females. The little absorbers do their job and make it easy to dispose of the urine if you have some traveling to do before you get to a garbage. Overall really thrilled to have found this product.

Male perspective: Grabbed these in advance of a trip my wife and I went on that involved a lot of outdoors adventuring but we didn't run into any dire situations that called for use of these. I did a test run on one just now and no surprise - it does exactly what it says it does. Bear in mind, these are for urinating only. When getting it opened up and prepped for use - there's no way you're going to #2 in this.They are very well made and store easily without taking up much space. I kept some in a backpack while on our trip in case we did end up needing it. These will now be great to keep a couple in each of our cars in case we ever find ourselves stuck in a traffic nightmare and 'gotta go!' Another nice inclusion with each of these is the sanitary wipe (for your hands) that comes attached to each urinal in its own packaging.All in all - this did exactly what it said it would do and what I expected it to do. 5/5 on all fronts.
