At first I was really happy about the purchase despite the fact that the left side is a little too short (I was also using them to listen to music on my computer, too) but the microphone line extends long enough so that it was no problem when I was using it for my phone. I was even happier when I found out that they came with 3 different ear caps. They're pretty decent with the music and even better since it kinda buffers outside noise. I could listen at minimal volume and it would be enough...anymore and it would be too loud.THEN, a few days later, I accidentally dropped them on the floor and when I put them back on, the left/shorter side didn't work. I couldn't hear ANYTHING. I kept trying to re-adjust it but nothing worked and the whole thing came off. It turns out the copper wires broke off. When I examined it, the wires were extremely thin and brittle. So then, I was only left with one earbud....like a regular headset.To make matters worse, a few weeks later the plastic back part with the sony ericsson green symbol on my right earbud came off. Thank god I could just re-attach it.Now I'm thinking of buying another earbud. since the microphone plug part still works.If you're thinking about buying this, I just hope you want it for the microphone and earbud plug part NOT the earbuds themselves as they're cheap and easy to break but they do provide decent sound if they manage to stay intact.

I ordered 2 of this ear buds and they both didn't work right. I had to pull out the connector from the jack @ 1/8" for both sides to work. When it does work, the sound quality is excellent for what it is and it's size.Anyone who want to buy from this vendor must review their return/refund policy beforehand since they don't offer return for replacement and there may be a hefty "restocking fees" for refund. Also, the shipping and handling fees are @ 50% of the cost of the product itself so, you're really not getting your money's worth(as indicated by savings they show).Being that there "may be" upwards of 30% restocking fees, I'm just going to find a way to modify them and make them work as it came. All things considered, I will never order from this vendor again... You really do get what you pay for from this vendor, a cheap product made cheaply for pure profit.

I Bought These 2 Times! JUST BECAUSE I love them so much, BEST Sound Quality Earbuds I OWN! And the price is awesome, now, I've been using these for YEARS at least 2008 I believe, now I am using Headphone Amplifier a Fiio E5, I know these came with the Sony Erricson Phone, and it came with the wires for the phone which I've never owed, I really only wanted the earbuds, I had 3 pairs, first pair I found outside of a Dollar General hanging over a cart in the parking lot, the tips on them was REALLY ruff so i put them in my pocket, and went home, and put them away, and forgot about them, then I needed a pair of buds, but the problem with these was the cord was WAY to short, so I went and got an extender and new tips, AND they sounded GREAT! But they wasn't very loud, but the sound was good, playing off of a 1st Gen ITouch, so I Googled how to make my headphones louder, BOOM I found the Fiio E5, then i found better tips, which are the foam tips, and my GOD! If you just getting these, i wouldn't get it, just because the lack of how low the volume is and the short cord, BUT if you get a Headphone Amp with these (the Fiio E5 cost $20 at the time and i don't think they sell those any more, you would have to get the Fiio E6 which is $30, same Specs) or if your just planning on getting a Headphone amp, get these cause the Bass is good and its plenty loud, so i ended up giving my friend one and he still has them,he likes them too. '

These are a replacement for the original headphones that I broke that came with my W580i (also have a Z750a). Saw the price,with tax and shipping,the total price certainly cannot be beat. Will use with the Sony Ericsson HBH-SD200 bluetooth stereo headset I purchased,since the original headphones are VERY uncomfortable! I am a Sony Ericsson fan and I love their products;however,the W580i is giving me fits (it did fall into water and therefore has water damage);have to play with the plug for the headphones,otherwise will playback in stereo (the same goes with the optional jack for home stereo). My Z750a has had software glitches;these two phones are unlike the quality product I have come to expect from Sony Ericsson. But you have to look at the country of origin;China and Malaysia. Enough said.

I really wanted to like these. After all they seemed to be everything I wanted. They match my phone, function as a hands free headset, and are cheap. But, the different cord lengths for the left and right ear is something I hate. I realize others may not mind, but for me I prefer to use other ear phones that are the same length on both sides (which you can do with this headset since it is a two piece that disconnect at the mike.) The other issue, and the one that is the deal breaker for me is the extremely low quality of the mic. Technically it does work, but only in the fact that when I use them for a call the people on the other end can hear something. However, the sound quality is so bad that they always ask me what is wrong with the phone, and after I would explain they would usually rather not talk if I have to use the headset.On the positive side the sound quality is good for both music and phone calls (but since the other person can't hear you it is negated) and they also look good.As a final note I would say that if you only want them to listen to music and don't mind that the left and right ear chords are different lengths then I'm sure you will like them very much since they are a visually pleasing combination to a black Sony phone. But if you want to use them to make hands free calls (this was the only reason I got them) then don't bother. By the way it was not just on set that had a bad mic, as I ordered two of them since my wife and I both have Sony phones and they both have unacceptable mics.Hope this helps you decide.
