Pretty, easy to follow, fun new hobby to pick up. Pair it with some instructional YouTube videos and it works great. The kit came with all the supplies it needed.

ETSPIL embroidery kit for beginners. Kit contains 4 pieces of stamped white canvas cloth for learning a total of 33 different embroidery stitches. YouTube videos are available to help guide you in learning stitches. Included are needle, hoop, embroidery thread, instructions. I chose to copy stamped design onto a water soluble printable adhesive stabilizer and use other fabrics and threads. I plan on making a four-square pillow out of my 4 samplers. A good value. I have completed two of the four designs. A fun learning experience.

Have I ever embroidered anything, no. Did I buy this kit to learn, sure did. This is perfect for beginners like me. It includes everything you need, including pictures, instructions, and links to videos. The pattern itself provides practice for multiple kinds of stitches. It is good quality and is perfect for older teens or adults. It is good value and I would recommend!

This kit comes with ALMOST everything you see here. All the cloths, threads, needles in three sizes, scissors, and threaders are included.PROs:Instructions for each stitch are printed and pretty easy to follow, and if you need more help, video tutorials are available online.The designs are attractive and fun, and there are lots of different kinds of stitches taught.There is plenty of thread for you to use more of your favorite colors, or add extra details if you like.The four designs co-ordinate together, so they look great displayed as a group or individually.CONs:There are only TWO embroidery rings provided, so if you want to display all four pieces in rings, you will need to buy two more. Luckily, they are very cheap.The threaders break pretty easily if you try to pull them through the needles with the higher of the thread counts for each needle. You'll need to learn to thread a needle without them.The scissors are very cheap, although they do work.The exact colors/stitches/number of strands are not clearly shown for every single element of each design, so you need to guess some, or just go with your own color scheme. The threads all co-ordinate nicely, so this is not really a problem for creative people who like to put their own spin on things.Just as a note, you do NOT need to cut all the threads into even 24" sections before beginning. This is a huge waste of time, makes it harder to store the thread neatly, and wastes material as well. Just cut one piece at a time as you go, and divide it into the number of strands that you need.

The instructions are difficult for me to understand, I am more of a visual learner. But I am able to find other videos of the stitches. I love the patterns and I am excited to sit down and embroider every night!

The floss and fabric were very good quality, especially for the price. The instructions were clear and helpful. It also came beautifully packaged and would make a lovely gift.

This kit has everything you need to start embroidery except good instructions. There are no paper instructions on how to stitch but there are instructions for which stitch to use in the patterns. The youtube tutorials have no audio and the video frequently jump cuts once demonstrating silently how to do the stitch once. If you are not naturally crafty or not a STRONG visual learner, you'll need to look up videos on how to do the stitches and how to correct mistakes. The thread is also lower quality but works ok. After 4 hours of work, I spent 3 of them trying to thread needles only to later learn from a random tiktok video the kit does include a needle threader.
