And since I live in an old home, I feel better about fungus control. Overall I like this 50 L dry box. It fits under my desk. It's easy to set up. Quiet. The shelves can be adjusted but the top shelf, although it has holes to insert in the bracket can not be raised as the humidity controller is in the way. If you have a Sigma 150-600 C telephoto zoom, you must place it diagonally across the middle shelf. You can not stand it up or lay it down on the width or depth. I can fit my gear in but a larger unit would be better for an extra telephoto lens. Measure first. And if you have more than one telephoto, buy the larger unit.

We live in Costa Rica, where the humidity during the rainy season can cause mold to grow everywhere. So we put our important documents in this cabinet and haven't had to worry about them at all.

Bought this for my photography equipment. Fits my nikon 810, my sony a7r4 with a 90mm lens on one shelf. Room for 5 or 6 lenses on the other two shelves. Plus SD cards and could even fit my phone. Comes with foam inserts and an internal light. Easy to set and operate.

The humidity I think doesn’t work because I set my RH to 47 and its been a day or 2 but it reaches intil 40% only and the water splash icon should be blinking if it doesn’t reach the RH that I set and would stop blinking if it reached the desired RH. For this icon it is not blinking and my RH is still 39

I recently got the Autens 30ml dehumidifier and it has been a game changer for keeping my expensive electronics dry. Not only is it affordable, but very quite. Stops the dampness-related issues that ruins electronics. This little box is so effective, I half expect it to start wearing a cape and mask. It was easy to set and has no issues that I can see. $200 to keep thousands of dollars dry. Easy choice.
