The package is very pleasing to look at. The quality of the cat food is excellent. The ingredients are top notch.

Salem has a sort of sensitive stomach and is incredibly picky when it comes to food. The moment we opened this and gave it to him, he devoured it. We started small to see if he would have any stomach problems but he hasn’t so far. It is hard food - we could tell by his crunching but he loves it!

Our cat is pretty selective with her food. Whenever we introduce her to new food, we would have to slowly miss portions into her more familiar routine food before she would change over to the new food.Did not have to do that procedure with this food! We opened the bag and let her smell the food. Our cat seemed quite interested. Gave her a few kibbles and she ate the pieces without hesitation. Our cat likes the smell and taste of this new food.Optimeal is a quality food. Has everything for promoting good health. Think this food is a bit pricey. Similar price as the high end cat food. Since our cat likes this, we will get Optimeal occasionally and mix it into her regular kibble.

The cats have really enjoyed this food, but the price keeps getting up. Bought this food for around $20, and last time I was going to buy it was closer to $40. I was happy to have found a great food who also support a great cause, but a increase of price that much is a deal breaker for us.
