Epicatechin is marketed by body building supplement companies to increase muscle, strength & endurance when combined with resistance and strength training. Clinical data on the effectiveness of epicatechin is inconsistent. I haven't experienced any of the hoped for benefits yet. I believe I will over time. Quite possibly the problem is with me and not the supplement. Perhaps I just need to amp up my daily workouts.NOTE: Broadbeans, chocolate and cacao top the list of epicatechin food sources.
