Awesome kit - looks fantastic!
Very happy with this! Real leather, well made, perfect size. I installed this on a 2012 Suzuki SX4. The OEM steering wheel was looking pretty tired and needed a refresh. I was VERY nervous to start after reading all the negative reviews, but it really worked out well. No instructions, so I watched a ton of videos to determine the best way to install. I used the 'Euro Stitch' according to some English Youtuber. You go through the existing stitches NOT the holes, which made things much easier. I skipped every other stitch going in one direction and then went through the skipped ones going the other direction. If there was any gaps or buckling, the second pass pulled it in. It took about 2 hours. I only needed one needle and thread - this supplies two. It's looks professional! Very impressed with this kit (and myself for the install).

Fits 2003 Ford F250 perfectly, Looks and feels great!!
I installed this on my 2003 Ford F250 and am extremely happy with the result. The leather is really good quality and makes the steering wheel thicker, easier to grip and feels so much better. It is indeed real leather 100% positive. The fit is really nice. You will have to stretch the cover quite a bit to get it over your steering wheel so placement of the seam is very important. Once the cover is pulled into place the only way you can move the seam position is to pull the cover off and start over. The seam on mine started to come apart but its an easy fix with the thread they give you. Once you have the seam positioned you just have to get the cover as even as possible all around. You start on the back side of the cover and tie to one of the seams. Next you just run the provided thread from seam to seam side to side until you get to the air bag. Once at the Airbag you get as close as you can then run the thread under the cover to the other side of the airbag and keep as tight as you can without breaking the thread. Once you get all the way around the wheel you tie off the thread and leave a 2 inch tail of thread that you will tuck under the leather and you are done. If you look at my pictures you will see that the leather will stick up around the airbag area slightly but it really doesn't look or feel bad. Once this cover is on there it is not moving. It will take two hours or so to put on correctly and will take some trial and error and patience. One of the bundles of thread they give you will do the entire wheel with lots to spare. It also comes with a needle and thimble. The steering wheel cover looks great almost looks factory. I was really impressed with the quality and highly recommend. Picture with the new Ford emblem is with the steering wheel cover glued down by the airbag.

cover is good, I have used wheelskins and I would say the product is as good. Install instructions suck and if I did not have experience I would have been lost

A Touch of Luxury
Quality leather! It came with two lengths of threads and even came with a cute tailor's thimble for the perfect install kit! I really took my time sewing / stitching this onto the steering wheel and it was, in a way, therapeutic. I got it lined up perfectly and it's now basically part of the car, stitched on as tight as a baseball. It's smooth in the hand with the wheel travel and allows the hands to breathe without getting sweaty in the hot summer months. One small detail to take note of is that there were many little 'plugs' that were still present from the factory process of punching the tiny air holes and not all of them were perfectly 'cored' out, leaving the some of the pieces slightly protruding from their little holes. This was more apparent after install. It didn't end up being a problem though and doesn't last long anyway. It's just something to be aware of, but I wouldn't consider it to be a product defect, more of an imperfection with the manufacturing process. After installing, simply rub any protruding core material sticking out and they should just pop right out. This will also self-correct just by driving and using the steering wheel; they'll come out on their own. Other than that, this is much better than anything I could find locally. No buyer's remorse here and I will probably get several more of these for future vehicles when the time comes.

Would buy again and my humble opinion
This is a nice cover. Soft, fit well on my 2023 Nissan Frontier. I agree however, take your time when stitching if you want a professional look, and remember to treat the leather with the right conditioner (google matte vs swaddle leather treatment ) now and then or it will start flaking off especially if your vehicle is in hot weather. If I had one wish/recommendation, it would be nice if I could pick the stitch color that way I could get white stitching on black cover.

Not so great or happy with it
It didn't came with instruction. I have to YouTube it to see different techniques from other ppl.The string is quite short, i barely have enough leftover to tide the knot. I have to spend an extra half hour pull the string to get an additional 1 inches.I want to return it but i spend more than 2 hrs to install it. And to remove it, probably gonna waste my time so i decided to keep it.The leather is soft, women will love more than men. It doesn't seem like it going to last for a long time. I had better one back in the day and it's still great.

Fantastic return on a steering wheel's worth!
I'm uncertain if it's real leather or not but it feels nice, looks nice, and has made an immense difference in the steering wheel of my 1976 MG Midget. The installation was easy, and although I've got some experience with sewing and embroidery, I'd imagine that anyone can install this, given enough time.My wheel was a little thinner in diameter, so I cut off some excess leather and re-stitched the lines on one side, but it still turned out fine!
